-How long have you been creating music?

Since I was a teenager, I have been playing musical instruments. In 2012, I completely switched to electronic music, and in 2013, I made my first release. I've been making electronic music for more than ten years now.



-What do you use to make your tracks?

I use Ableton Live to make my tracks, recording most of my hardware synthesisers and drum machines, and I build a flow during the recording process.



-How and when did you first discover Dirtybird?

I discovered Dirtybird through Claude VonStroke back in the days. I also attended one of his gigs in London approximately 14 years ago, where I saw him perform live in front of me and gained a deeper knowledge of Claude VonStroke and his label.





-Which Dirtybird artist would you want to collaborate with the most?

Claude VonStroke is the artist with whom I would most like to work even though there are many other talented artists that are part of Dirtybird.



-If your entire life was a movie, what title would best describe you?

The phrase I like to use to describe myself is "Magic Boy."

I've always believed that my life is like a movie and I've faced numerous challenges in my life.



-What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?

DJ Murphy at Monegros Desert Festival 2012



-If you could time travel, where and when would you go?

If I had the chance to travel, I would go anywhere as long as it was a secure location free from conflicts.

I would like to go anytime to the USA as an example as I have never been there.



-What species of bird best describes you and why?

The seagull may be the bird that best captures who I am because when I watch them fly through the air and fish with such tenacity in the sea, they give me a strong sense of independence and freedom that gives me an inner sense of liberation.



-What does Dirtybird mean to you?

For me, Dirtybird represents a record label with a strong personality and a well-defined concept that has evolved through time. Behind this, I see some wonderful individuals that are a part of it and contribute to making something incredibly enjoyable for the public.

We only release music we absolutely love, and so we are proud to present yet another very talented artist on Truesounds Music - Italy-based Unstable Son, with his new 4-track EP, Dystopia.

The title track ‘Dystopia’, one of the most outstanding productions that has come our way recently, combines a breakbeat base with contemporary melodic, liquid sound. The cherry on top is the vocal from Lily Und Wolf. 

For the remix, when it comes to quality we do not compromise, so we asked the underground icon, Martin Roth, to rework the tune and we are extremely delighted to have him on our label. With potential to become a club anthem, it’s most definitely a peak time tune that takes you on a hypnotic journey with a multitude of melodies and a groove that will make you dance till the very end.

The next track, ‘Secrets’ is a bit different with an uplifting, joyful, Ibiza vibe and a male vocal by Dcoverz. Finally we have an instrumental track, ‘Ypsilon’, with a true underground sound - just what Truesounds is all about. We hope you enjoy!

To contrast the tenderness of the original we enlisted NYC house icon, Harry Romero, for the remix. We’ve been longtime fans of Harry’s topnotch beats and productions, and he blew us away with his bangin’ interpretation of the original.
