ANECHOIC CHAMBER / X.S.S. label [xss03]

A new imprint hailing from Ljubljana, Slovenia, KRI aims to capture the lost futures of EBM, electro and nu-wave from the 80s while pairing them with future-focused productions of the now. Named after post-punk group Otroci Socializma, the label ran by local DJs and promoters Schrauff & Lavka will showcase records enjoyed both in the club and at home, while re-issuing obscure and timeless records alongside fresh material from producers across the globe. The first instalment welcomes a well-crafted journey and debut collaboration between Christian Kroupa, arriving off his LP on Natural Sciences under his Alleged Witches alias, and Return to Disorder and L.I.E.S. alumnus LCN (aka Le Chocolate Noir), with the two producers serving up their eclectic ‘World’s Connect’ EP - backed by a remix from Mannequin boss Alessandro Adriani.

Tomorrow, on what marks Kyiv producer Poly Chain's birthday, she's releasing her second charity project on fellow Ukrainian artist Lostlojic's Mystictrax imprint.

The pair have linked up again for Poly Chain's Fairy Disco mini album, a digital release and limited physical USB chain, which features six electro-inspired tracks composed over the last two years backed by two remixes from Kharkiv-based DJ Sacred and Frankfurt's finest Luz1e.

Speaking about the release, Poly Chain (real name Sasha Zakrevska) said: "the release date is my 29th bday and my wish is very simple yet quite complicated, as well as contained tunes themselves: keep supporting Ukraine, it's your every days shield."

All money raised from the album sales will be donated to 'Повернись Живим/Come Back Alive' foundation - the first charity organisation in the Ukraine who've received a license to purchase and import military and dual purpose goods.

Absorbed all the best from Ishome, Bjarki, Plastikman the duo Buddha Electronics opens the EP with an incredibly conceptual composition, which contains considerable efforts during the two-week session in the home studio. The track is very deep in its presentation to the listener and it's acid in its arrangement. Such conceptual work will find its Amateurs in all fields of electronic music. The last track in this EP was written by Curlyand who is an important person in our label. The previous release Symbiosis Pt.II continues the galactic municipal way moving mysteriously and abruptly in the dance structure. What to expect from this man is known only to him, "ПОКА"!
