Colors You Can't See

It was right around 3 and a half years ago, at a small event in Detroit called LAZER TAG, that I met intergalactic funk wizard Freddy Todd﻿. Since then, I have come to call Fred one of my closest friends in this whole music thing. His song, "Winter Defroster" has held a special place in my heart throughout our friendship, as I feel that it truly represents all that is good in the funk-glitch realm while also symbolizing our brotherhood...so when Fred asked me to remix one of his tracks, it was a no brainer which one I chose.

Unfortunately this remix could not be featured on Fred's remix album due to a name conflict and the label refusing to release it as a result of that conflict, so I have decided to post it up for everyone to enjoy. Without further ado, I present to you my remix of one of my favorite songs of all time.

It was a simple idea I made out of a very basic sound. I knew Ben would be able to take it to the next level percussive wise. After tour, we both had some sessions on it and ended up with what we got! Mad cool to see a random idea made in the back of a van turn into such a cool project like this one!"

Cofresi: “I’ve been a fan of Rob’s style ever since we performed together at Cervantes otherside a few years back.
