Latin Ball

Munenori Kawasaki stakes out an interesting corner in Blue Jays history. Not the greatest hitter or fielder, he boogied his way into fans' hearts in 2013 with his hustle, enthusiasm and plain old quirkiness. As RA Dickie once said: “he’s gotten the most out of his abilities, more than anyone else in the clubhouse"; the best back-handed compliment I’ve ever heard! Sadly he was not re-signed by the Jays in 2016 but he won’t be soon forgotten.
