Needed to express my manic energy in a retrograde-induced mix. I wanted to test my range and push the boundaries of my typical style of mixing. The entire mix is 120-135 BPM and I explored a more emotional and personal side of my music taste, with some of my favorite artists throughout. Very happy with this one 🖤

I threw a Lana Del Rave deep in the forest in Austin, TX in celebration of the living legend Lana Del Rey's 40th birthday on the night of the summer solstice. This is a very, very special set in which I curated only Lana/Lizzy Grant mashups and played for 4 hours (I previously have only played sets under 90 minutes).

It was a truly beautiful experience that felt like a festival of love, and I am grateful for everyone who was a part of it and helped me bring the vision to life.

P.S. Please don't mind the few brief moments that me/my MC (bestie) get on the mic to say a word or 2, the crowd had me going wild! (There may even be a few short karaoke moments... sorry for being annoying, but that's part of The Homotopies Experience).

Manic Mashup #3: Earth, Wind & Fire fused with electro may be a bit challenging for the average listener, but I felt the robotic background vocal loop suggests something in this realm to be a natural evolution from the original disco track… One of the biggest creative risks I took this year, IMO.

Manic Mashup #7: Fusing Swag Surfin’ with Budots was very Filipino of me… This is my culture! I am just now exploring Budots more, but its ability to fit so naturally in my sets also shows that the Filipino blood truly does run thick!

My final DJ set of 2025 at Chronicallyonline in McAllen, TX. I had a wonderful time down in the RGV and this was one of my very favorite sets that I’ve played. I loved that the McAllen crowd had some real dancers, as curating a dance party on the floor is always my biggest goal as a DJ. I am always a little nervous to play certain mashups which I consider to be “creative risks”, but you all took in the energy and ran wild with it.

I played an eclectic, genre-bending mix including progressive trance/prog house, classic trance, deep techno, hard techno, electro, jungle, classic dubstep, BUDOTS, experimental bass, rap, pop, country, alternative, r&b… from Tame Impala, Beach House, or Earth, Wind & Fire to KATSEYE, Britney, or Kacey Musgraves, to Three 6 Mafia, Waka Flocka, or Doechii… Thank you to the crowd for allowing me to take you wherever I wanted to 😇 

I am very excited to see how my sound continues to evolve from this moving into the new year :)
