Born and raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, ChadKid is inspired by many of the amazing djs and raves in the greater midwest scene. Over the past four years they have been alongside fellow residents Sis Girl & Calin to build their own party, MESH. MESH focuses on showcasing queer, trans, and non-binary djs from across North America. Together they work hard to make sure their party is inclusive and safe for all to rave in. Chad’s djing is inspired by all aspects of rave culture and they always strive to capture some of that raw energy in their sets.

In this mix they explore further into more unconventional deep house and dub influenced sounds. Pulling mostly from late 90’s early 00’s releases, this mix has a timeless grove that pulls you in for an hour of both uplifting and hypnotic energy.

The recording was due to be shared but we rolled into covid life mode and it never made it online. It does feel a little weird to be listening back to pre lockdown recordings but it was a special weekend and we're super glad we have this as an audio memory of those funs times to share with yuuu.

Drawing inspiration from 90s house while adding his own modern edge, Ford has caught the attention of some of the scene’s biggest names with his innovative basslines, meticulous sound design, and relentless dancefloor focus.

The A-side opens with Watch Out, a crafty, rolling bassline paired with sleek, layered synth work and captivating sound design. Next up, Work That Body delivers suspense-filled builds and explosive drops, pairing hypnotic vocal chops with a punchy bassline for a full-throttle dancefloor weapon.

On the B-side, The Message channels 90s hip-hop swagger into a groovy, bass-driven cut with intricate melodic textures and fluid, evolving atmospheres. Closing out the EP, Can’t Sit Down turns up the heat with futuristic synth stabs, a driving low end, and a tightly-wound arrangement that refuses to let the energy drop.

Let music breathe, resonate with life surroundings in concrete jungle. Taku Hirayama has been on decks since 2000. Hailing from Fukuoka, south Japan, now based in Hong Kong for over a decade. By mixing various style of music, expanding interpretation of dance music with his own taste and careful decision. Keeps updating himself with his own party "Junktion" which connects numbers of DJ’s DJs and upcoming hidden talents across the globe. Himself also travels from the industrial city to various inspirational dancefloors in the world.
When his favourite trippy groove is on control, music can be spread smoothly and extensively. It grows certain kind of positive energy towards to sunrise. Besides holding crowds on dancefloor, he keeps trying to make waves in and out with surprise. Even if he plays deep mind bending sound, or gentle hypnotic sound, or even old school gems, there is deep connection with control and release, consistent groove and constant waves in his set.


90年代後半の地元福岡でのパーティー体験を機にDJを始め、現在まで約20年に渡って活動を続けている。テクノやハウスといったエレクトロニックミュージックを軸に、エクスペリメンタルな音や多彩なリズム、過去に影響を受けて来た新旧様々な音楽を織り交ぜ、ダンスミュージックを自由に解釈。またインダストリアルシティや旅からのインスピレーションも重ねながら独自のトリッピーグルーヴの探求を続けている。2013年より自身でオーガナイズを続けるパーティー “Junktion” においても、有名無名問わず世界中の感度の高いアーティスト達と音の交差を繰り返しながら、音楽観を常にアップデートしている。香港での活動は10年を超え、シーンが成熟して来ているアジア・中国圏、そしてヨーロッパや海外各地のパーティーやフェスティバルなど多様なダンスフロアでプレイ経験を重ねる。

Light and floating, I am the pilot of a lavender hot air balloon.  My duty entails delicately landing our basket on shore, not far from the lighthouse. The tide has peaked. She sells she-sheds by the seashore. This one comes fully equipped:  A kitchenette.  Baby grand piano.  A memory foam mattress, which happens to be edible.  It hugs the body and doubles as a crisp, chewy Detroit-style focaccia pizza. Sitting on the mattress, I remove the braces off of both my legs, and examine the unique perspective from my she-shed; an unobstructed view of the bay through bay windows, each an individual LED HDTV.  Tonight's program depicts water rushing away from the harbor.  A muddy field exposed to the time-changed light.  How is it that the sun is already setting at four freaking twenty pee em?  

I exit the balcony door, putting all of my weight into my brand new legs.  I’m determined to chase after the last little sliver of sun.  I walk out onto the gently-sloped terrain, my legs growing stronger with each step.  I slip by clam beds and barnacle-studded stones, two horseback riders cross my path.  Everything is sparkling.
