Este set viene directo del centro de México, realizado por @kevstandup, o Kevin Villegas. Originario de Irapuato, Guanajuato, KEV es residente de Radio Bar y miembro activo del colectivo Supremo. 

Cómo DJ/Selector opta los sets extendidos que le permitan comenzar con unidades básicas de sonidos ambientales preparando el oído para una escucha profunda, sus sets son caracterizados por sorprender en el dancefloor con el dinamismo que maneja para trasladarse entre distintos géneros.

En este set, cargado de sonidos ambient, arritmias rotas, o percusiones tribales, encontramos diversos estilos musicales, mezclados con gran técnica y armonía.

This set comes straight from central Mexico, performed by KEV, or Kevin Villegas. Originally from Irapuato, Guanajuato, Kevin is a resident of Radio Bar and an active member of the Supremo collective. 

As a DJ/Selector he opts for extended sets that allow him to start with basic units of ambient sounds preparing the ear for deep listening, his sets are characterised by surprising the dancefloor with the dynamism he manages to move between different genres.

In this set, loaded with ambient sounds, broken arrhythmias, or tribal percussions, we find diverse musical styles, mixed with great technique and harmony.

Now is the timeless image of our time. A pause. A momentum. The bridge between the past and the near future. Simply TODAY. It is our world, which we have created for ourselves. Spoken words meet electronic sounds.
2021. Corona pandemic. The nightlife was functioning in a limited way, and electronic music was looking for new forms of expression. Helmut Dubnitzky participated in the interdisciplinary theater production "Jetzt!" by the theater label Tacheles and Tarantismus. Here he produced the music for the production and became part of the stage action as a live musician. He performed a cyber Jesus, playing in various sessions and live sets. A window into the depths of the World-Wide Web. A space for the state of being lost. The foundation for his third studio album was laid.
Enthused by the actors' role work, expression, dynamics, and precision, Helmut Dubnitzkys decided to continue the work with the artists in the studio. The starting point was often just an idea, an instrumental, the text, or the groove. The musical arrangements framed the acting scenes and entered into a rhythmic symbiosis with the spoken word. This coherent harmony is created and reproduced with every track in the album. With his experimental excursion, Helmut Dubnitzky takes the listener on a journey into the innermost part of the human being and gives electronic music a new context. Pop-like structures, such as verse and chorus, give the actors space for their stories. A concept album composed of individual fragments. The moods of the individual tracks oscillate between dreamy, laid-back vibes and thoughtful, energetic flights of fancy.
The groove remains a unifying stylistic device that runs throughout the album and forms the DNA of the tracks.
NOW is the extraordinary result of an intense genesis.
Additional remix EPs include club versions of selected album tracks.

Honest Allies nace entre las ciudades de Madrid y Ciudad de México, como un colectivo de alianzas artísticas, en su modalidad de eventos de arte relacional, antes programa de radio y ahora tambien canal de Soundcloud, con la intención de converger, dar voz y representación a artistas, selectores y a personas de nuestra comunidad y espacios cercanos, divergiendo entre narrativas, géneros y estilos, como formas de expresión artística y alteridad.

- Lebollet es fotógrafo, diseñador, Productor, Promotor y DJ residente de @BallestaClub, también en Madrid. 

- Rootian, radica en la Ciudad de Mexico (CDMX), es Psicólogo clínico, Promotor de los eventos de arte relacional y takeovers de Honest allies en la capital mexicana y DJ residente del club queer @sic-community-club.

Los tres son grandes amigos de larga distancia procedentes de Córdoba, Andalucía, en el sur de España.
