This song means a lot to me. Suhalla is about expedition through the difficult terrain of Suhalla desert. It is a depiction of one's life and where they've got so far but there's still a long way to go. It is also a journey; a plot of an epic movie with full of emotion. It is peaceful and mellow, but it flows with conflict and dissonance.

I'm a year in to my uni studies (music production) and this is one of the very first projects I ever made. Teacher told us to create a melody and three different chord progressions and use one of them to create a track. I got kinda carried away and the result was, well, something else than what the teacher asked haha

We mostly use Logic and Pro Tools in our school so the soundscape is about 80% stock resampled Logic synth presets. I wanted to continue the stock theme a bit further so I filled in the rest with stock Serum presets. 

Jeremy is my classmate and a dang good singer. He's shown me some demos of his tracks and I figured he'd be a perfect fit for this song so I asked him if he wanted to collab and he send me some tracks couple days later. I put them in to the track, got the song mixed and mastered and only after that I realised Jeremy meant those tracks we're just supposed to be demo tracks and he'd send retakes later... so what you hear here is supposed to be a demo :D

I'd link Jeremy's stuff here but he doesn't have releases yet so let's all eagerly wait till he uploads something 😌

The Lost Age was kind of a last minute call. Originally I was supposed to do another song for my EP but that idea got scrapped so I just created a new track from scratch. Textures was supposed to be an EP with a different vocalist on every track so I had this grande idea of creating an instrumental track where I replaced the vocalist with a guitar. Let me tell you creating the notes with the idea of a "vocalist" in mind was so much fun!

In Lost Age we're going on a shore and delving a little too deep to the sea to find the Poseidon himself to humble us and throw us back! We're going under the surface so hold your breath, you will see the wild life sea has to offer!

I vividly remember one of the first uni parties I ever went to. The after party was in a club and there was this drum and bass night and as soon as I stepped in I heard the jungle drums playing. I wasn't that big of a fan of jungle but frankly it's better than the crap you usually hear at commercial club so I still went to the dancefloor to jam.

They say you can't really judge a genre until you've heard it live and that really was true that night. You'd think there's nothing catchy about a genre that is based on erratic, constantly changing drum beats but live it was so hypnotic. With deep and rich bass lines and a rapid but steady pulse, jungle is so wild that it becomes mesmerizing. You can feel your whole body twitch, its so nice.

"One for," is my attempt to blend this new passion of mine with something I love deeply: disco house. 

The vocalist, rounai, is a classmate of mine.  He's got this pure and true indie voice that is just sooo soothing and perfect for this track. Definitely go check him out, I linked his socials above. His got an album coming out so stay tuned 👏

I wasn't really a drum and bass fan until recently. As a house producer I like house (duh) and there was something with dnb I hadn't just unlocked yet. 

We have these annual meetings with other music producers and they love drum and bass more than I could ever love my girlfriend. In these meetings something planted a seed in my brain and the seed just grew in to a whole tree and and now I'm the biggest dnb head you will ever see.

Crystalline Wonders is kinda like an eff you project. It has been my quest to show that I can do absolutely everything production-wise and it's my way to show my decade of experience in music production. Honestly, I don't really think I'm *that* good of a producer, but it was fun to power trip while doing the project.

Surprisingly, the main source of inspiration of this was Kobaryo. They have this interesting style of combining genres to the point that the songs itself are considered genreless. Crystalline Wonders came to be after I listened to Kobaryo's Super Reactor and accidentally combined that inspiration with my recent obsession with drum and bass.

(ps. I had to fight myself to release this one. I'm not that good of a vocalist so that brings its own insecurities. My homie insists it's good so I guess it aight. You can expect better vocals in the future :3)

Enjoy this thrilling adventure across the elysian fields, rosy meadows and steep mountain passes. In this piece we seamlessly blend two genres that are completely unrelated to each other to create something that's both epic and fun! We thrift from moments of bliss created by massive synths back to grim rhythms forged by stomping bass lines to get this adventure that jumps up and down like a dolphin in the ocean. Wonderland is a marvelous blend of bleak and lush, and I am so glad I can finally share this colourful piece of art with you.


I feel like this is the peak. Not necessarily that this would be the best I could ever offer, but more like this is the soundscape I'll be aiming towards in my future productions. I have this habit of letting out a small tear after I finish a song, and this time I full on cried because I was so proud of myself haha.

Tarnished imagination

New swingety-swing, moooo! Finally something that is jolly rather than melancholic fuck-my-life-type of shit. The title is inspired by the farm in our neighbourhood. Those spotted cows tend to stare when you pass by and that's the only thing they really do. Maybe, and just about maybe, if you made them listen to some of that swingety-swing, they would be freed from their boring bodies and they would finally do something else than lock on and gaze their victims. 

Or maybe they would still stand in one place eating grass. Who knows?

Let the cows dance

A year old project that had been laying around in the deepest depths of my soon-dying hard drive. I am not the type of person that likes to finish his projects and the idea of finishing every single thing I start just makes me anxious. It's dead simple: I start something, I never finish it and I create another project. That is why you don't see sixty-five songs from me in a week, which frankly is the amount of projects I start in a day. 

I made some exceptions this time though. I gave myself a nice, firm boot in my arse and finished this piece that I haven't touched in 9 months. Feels good to get a grip sometimes.

"Why not" is a good question and asking it over and over again will eventually help you out. For instance, want to be more social? Want to ask that girl in your class out but you don't really know? Want to finish a nice, cool 1-year-old project but you can't seem to get your arse up and do things? 

Why not tho.

I wrote this in a day. I gathered all the moods and feelings from all the events, incidents, rendezvous and fêtes and sewed this one, giant patchwork quilt full of love, hate, pleasure, pain, victory, rejection, innocence, guilt, joy and dejection. 2017 was a good year -- it was some good shit, lads.

In Tandrii mythology, legendary sea creature The Kraken also makes an entry. In literature he is described as some sort of a mix of an octopus and Hydra: slit his tentacle and he'll grow a new one. He's the guardian of all waters and it was said that if your and The Kraken's eyes meet, you have somehow antagonized him and seeing your mates ever again would be a miracle. 

Kraken has an ability to be in any water, anytime and he also can change his size from an atom to the size of Mt. Everest. In northern villages folks used to scare children who where unable to swim with The Kraken stories so they wouldn't ever enter waters --- in Flora realm, swimming isn't a thing. 

I am super proud of this piece. Contrary to my other pieces, this song actually tells an actual story. God bless it ain't based on real events, heh.

I am in a band class and we had to play Superstition by Stevie Wonder. The second I heard those first three notes of the riff, I knew I had to remix it.
