Esta pieza está teñida de un color muy particular, es una mezcla que se ha ido nutriendo en Chile, ya que por un lado es un homenaje al Charanguista Italo Pedrotti, quién abre camino a la incorporación del charango en rítmos de 5/8 y 7/8, entre otros. Y además, un tinte gitano en la armonía en la segunda parte de la obra.

Its been an intense couple of years and I have needed to just let loose a freestyle! This was inspired by one of my long time inspirations the mighty Mikah 9! An emcee who I met when I was 18 and he broke down that he practiced freestyling by listening to horn solos and Jazz. Big shout out to Jason Lindner, Dana Leong, Lester Bowie, Gary Bartz, Avi Shai Cohen, Stef Van Es, Mark Guiliana, Tony Esapa, Paniotis Andreou, john stubberfield Pete Cosey and all of the great Jazz Musicians I have had the honor of playing with you have taught how to be free!
