In 2004 I had a sitar custom crafted while in Varanasi India and have played it ever since.  I am not a traditionalist with the instrument, but just enjoy making it sing.

While working and teaching in Afghanistan, I recorded some conversations with students.  This student in particular told me a funny story about a dream she had one night.
