Inspired by the Queen of cliffhangers, Shahrazad, I wanted to try and merge a Middle Eastern vibe with my Celtic instrumentation.

I composed this music to commemorate all those who have died with honor throughout history. It commemorates the courage of many people who died fighting, defending themselves to the death, without submitting, even if it meant choosing death over submission. This music aims to evoke the feelings of these people aware of their sad fate, but persevering in their fight to the end. This music is one of the most important that I have composed in my eyes, for what it expresses and tells. I hope you will like it. I thank again infinitely all those who support me, every like, comment, repost, etc., means a lot.

Another little ambient track. As always, more of a snapshot. As always, worked through from the beginning to the end and nothing changed afterwards in the melody and the effects as it is recorded

The music describes a starry, frozen night. The beauty of glittering light against the depths of absolute black. Set to music through vibraphone, oboe, and a mixed choir— a soundscape of stillness, shimmer, and awe.

This episode marks the final pause—before the chapters to come (22 and following) will resound with a bold and stirring new beginning.

Pandemic Suite – 21. Starry Night

This is part of the soundtrack I was writing many years ago for our videogame Cardhalia. Dwundur was a main city in the game. We were making the game with friends as kids, unfortunately it was never released. I have written the first 40 seconds of this piece when I was 16yo and then couldn't figure out how to continue with it. It was a nice challenge to return to this piece and "finish" it after almost 30 years later. With nowadays tools it is so much easier, with proper DAW and instrument libraries (and skills and experience). This is Spitfire Symphony Orchestra and PianoTeq. I mean, I'm no master, just a plain amateur, but it is such a fun to play with all the instruments of the full orchestra!

So We Meet is a symphonic journey of opposites — fire against water, danger against serenity. At its heart, though, it’s not just about elements but about people, the clashes and harmonies we carry within.

The music opens with lush cinematic strings and haunting piano motifs, slowly unfolding into a grand, operatic soundscape. Ethereal choirs rise like waves, while ambient guitars and shimmering synths weave around them. Drums strike with purpose, building momentum toward a towering climax — where passion, fear, and resilience collide in a storm of sound.

Epic yet intimate, So We Meet is both a duel and a dance — reminding us that in every confrontation lies the chance for balance, and in every struggle, a reflection of ourselves.

So We Meet

Born and Raised in New Orleans, music was my first love. After seeing  James  Bond ‘You Only Live Twice’ in the late sixties, the theme music had a profound affect on me.  I played in Rock bands throughout  the late seventies and eighties, writing and composing rock melodies,  but appreciated all genres of music.  Raising a family became the most important thing for the next 20 years, so music was set aside, but never forgotten. After moving to Nashville in 2018, music has once again stoked this passion for writing and composing music from a low flame into a full burn. Now I find myself on a new and unique avenue writing cinematic music using MIDI guitar and keys.
