HONEY TOWER's love for both diverse influences and eclectic sounds particularly shows in her tracks "Couture", a fashion-inspired synth hymn, "Dorian" - a gloomy hommage to Oscar Wilde's classic "A Picture of Dorian Gray", the new-wavy "Hyde" referencing Robert Louis Stevenson's "Jekyll and Hyde" as well as the driving, dark and enigmatic opening track on the album "L'Abeille", inspired by the different life stages of a bee.

Soundwise "Metamorphosen" builds on HONEY TOWER's love for darker, grittier, late-night sounds that are "refreshingly minimalistic" yet at the same time make for a "truly massive and endearing sonic landscape." Again, HONEY TOWER amplifies her unique sound aesthetics with a new release that is progressive yet poetic and thus reconciles iconic topoi with "some of the most forward-thinking electronica."

After HONEY TOWER's eclectic debut "Crystal Rain" and "Silver", her Warhol-inspired follow-up EP, "promising German Electro artist" (FAULT MAGAZINE) is about to drop her third release. 

"Dandy" is an 8-track concept album referencing literary, philosophical and historic manifestations of distinct dandyism.

From Huysman's notorious novel À Rebours ("Gegen den Strich"), to tragic dandy Franz Reichelt, who jumped to his death in his own design ("Eiffel 1912"), to Wittgenstein's philosophical reflections on ethics and aesthetics ("(A)e(s)th(et)ics") to the Decadent movement of the late 19th century ("Fin de Siècle)", the artist draws inspirations from multiple sources and creates an electronic anthology based on a concept that has always preoccupied artists, writers and philosophers from Wilde, to Baudelaire, to Camus and countless more.

According to Albert Camus, "The dandy is, by occupation, always in opposition" - a mindset which is reflected in HONEY TOWER's consistent denial of genre limitations. Once again, she is playing with diverse musical styles and juxtapositions and thereby systematically enhances her "dark, but definitely very sexy"  (DEATHEELECTRO) sound aesethetics between contemporary club music and "underground art installation" (MRU MAGAZINE), creating a sublime and intriguing universe that is decadent indeed.
