Started this one out just getting silly and wanted to see if I could do an acceptable Woody Woodpecker - that was what I was after, then playing it backwards -just to see what happens - the rest of it just happened! This must be late 1970's or early 1980's I had been attempting a woody woodpecker sort of thing and playing it backwards. For a short time I did play with electronic toys and this was recorded - just in case an idea for a legitimate tune may present itself! Many of the other loops have produced decent tunes and more ideas. This one is, as it is!

Seems to be influenced by something John Fogarty would do! Early 80's I assume. So young and this was some time ago! But at least it did produce a few other tunes and I keep this recording because listening to it still offers ideas for yet another tune!

I always had a fascination for being a rhythm guitar player - here is a try at that I always liked messing around with! I was a bit more experienced with the electronic devices when this was recorded! This had to be around 1986 or 7, or so! These are just noodles and me searching for ideas!

Not really sure how many of these old recordings I really have but I did record myself a lot and most everything I did - these are things I never meant to keep around - but they are still there and still giving me ideas! If you are listening to this - no one else has ever heard these before now! I kept these to myself as I never thought anyone else would want to listen to them anyway! These are just noodles and me searching for ideas! I think this is a good example of just playing and let whatever happens just happen!

Like the Woodpecker I wanted to do a decent doorbell, grandfather clock, Westminster Chimes sort of effort and I still do. This is so lame in many places but I managed to learn the rhythm part  without the need for a delay device. And the intro I like - if I ever get an opportunity to record again this doorbell "thingy" will be one I want another try at! I think I got this now - sorry - you'll have to listen to one of the first attempts at it as that is all I have handy!

I know if I'd been wiser this would never have occurred - but I wallowed in my blindness so it's plain that I deserve - for the sin of self-indulgence when the truth was writ quite clear - I must spend my life amongst the dead who spend their lives in fear - of a death that they're not sure of, of a life they can't control - It's all so simple really if you just look to your soul - for there's nothing hidden anywhere, it's all there to be sought!
