Don Son is an electronic music producer and DJ based in Basel, Switzerland. Known for his combination of deepness, spherical landscapes, and driving grooves in his music, he’s a passionate unique master of vibes. Often mixed with ethnic and hypnotic elements, his profound sense of harmonics and functionality is on point, whenever and wherever he’s DJing. Heute haben wir die fantastische Künstlerin Herzschwester aus Basel bei uns zu Gast. Bereits im Jahre 2012 sind wir über Isa’s Mix „Still Alive“ gestoßen, der uns mit seinen vielen unterschiedlichen Elementen sofort in seinen Bann gezogen hat.

Bei einer Party-Nacht 1999 in München verfiel sie der elektronischen Musik und schnell waren zwei Technics und ein Mixer besorgt und los gings. Die ersten Jahre ihrer Karriere war sie in der Schweizer Trance-Szene unterwegs, mit Auftritten in diversen Clubs, Groß-Raves und zweimal auf einem Lovemobil der Streetparade in Zürich. Der Trance-Zirkus wurde ihr aber dann irgendwann zu viel und sie fand ihre Heimat im Minimal-Techno. Ab 2007 fing sie dann an mit Freunden selbst Partys in Basel zu organisieren und wurde schnell ein fester Bestandteil der Basler Elektro-Szene.

Ihre wundervollen Mixtapes haben immer das gewisse Etwas --- sie kommen extrem vom Herzen. Man startet ihre Mixe und wird sofort in diesen wundervollen Stimmungsbogen eingewoben und auf eine fantastische abwechslungsreiche Reise mitgenommen und am Ende bleibt immer dieses wohlig warme Gefühl zurück.

Schön liebe Isa das es endlich geklappt hat und du uns so einen wunderbare Afterhour eingespielt hast und nun wünschen wir unseren Hörern wie immer maximalste Unterhaltung mit unserer Nummer 108.

In 2014 joined forces with Bodden and was involved in this project for 2 years, in that period did a track that hit the top chart sales and was played and charted by over than 400 artist, this track called "Do It" was released in OFF Recordings and reached Top 2 in Deep House Chart in Beatport, after that has the opportunity to play in some parts of Europe like Lightbox (London) or Lauter Unfug (Luxembourg). Some months later, EdOne has sufer an accident, a car ran over him and after a long period of recovery starts again his career as solo artist, releasing in labels like Defnition, Endless, Stil vor Talent, Suara, Mood Records, Selador... His music has got big support from artist like Dixon, Tale of Us, Maceo Plex, John Digweed, Dixon, Luca Bacchetti, Nicole Moudaber, Dave Seaman or Oliver Koletzki between others, without doubt is an artist to keep an eye on him.
