Society is in crisis - and we need guidance. The Phantom Whistler is the Australian mystic and gun for hire blazing trails across the untamed Wild West.

He was last seen as one half of The Lone Wranglers, a duo dabbling with psychedelia and deep house rooted in ‘Way of the Cowboy’ ('one of the most creative albums of the 2020' — Electronic Groove). This time he rides solo, unleashing a modern spaghetti western that dares to ask questions.

Uone has graced us with a modern rarity: a 15-track full-length concept album, ‘Phantom Whistler’, that pays homage to the Wild West.

Across Phantom Whistler you'll find a cinematic saga. Mind-expanding house and warm electronic ambience transmit with pacifying effect, and Uone juxtaposes moments of solitude and calm with a spiritual groove to preach a righteous truth. It's an organic sound, one leathered in the sun and rinsed in the open plain rivers.

Provocative guitars, harmonicas and indiscriminate field recordings are pulled together by the outlaw's call card: a clear, crystallised frequency; a whistle born during cold nights next to warm campfires. Make no mistake: this right here is an aural tonic, a soundtrack to the greatest medicine ceremony ever assembled.

The original mix of ‘Universal Wisdom' circles back to the start of the journey, its pertinent message wrapped in low-slung throbbing bass, enveloping deep tech beats and shimmering FX.

Taming your surroundings is crucial for any outlaw, and the noble craft of Falconry runs parallel with that ethos. Not just a smooth ode to passion, the gliding guitar and respectful vocal of ‘Karachi Eagles’ pays homage to those who devote their life to passion.

'Irish Campfire' features real-life Irish Whistler champion Joe Moran who plays a pensive piece around a crackling campfire. This is audio whiskey, my friend; a place to replenish and restore, a time to integrate the teachings from before.

As we pack up and throw dirt on the last smouldering coals, we ride one last time with 'Cause My Love', a sweet disco-fied sunrise after a long night learning big lessons. The Motown-inspired energy is filled with gratitude and contentment, acknowledging that, yes, we really are spirits on a human experience.

New Dawn

Loudr is an Italian DJ and producer with a deep musical background, who began his career as a session musician for the legendary Thievery Corporation. After refining his production skills under Luca Pretolesi at Studio DMI, he developed a distinctive sound that fuses Afro Tech-house and Melodic House. Today, he performs internationally and leads his own studio, pushing creative boundaries in electronic music.
Rami, an Afro House artist born in Los Angeles and raised in Medellín, is based in Playa del Carmen. Her global breakthrough came in 2022 with the viral success of “Ephimera.” Since then, she’s earned support from some of the genre’s most influential names and continues to expand her projects, including Trybal Sessions and the Ancestral Soul event series.
“Brave” is a powerful Afro House track rooted in our shared passion for deep rhythms and uplifting messages. Blending Loudr’s signature analog textures with Rami’s dynamic tribal percussion and grooves, this collaboration is a call to inner strength and collective empowerment on the dancefloor.

Hoomidaas Records is the record label of the DJ/artist/producer/multi-instrumentalist Armen Miran along with his partner Christina Acobiance. The word Hoomidaas is a stylized acronym for the phrase “who made us”, paying homage to how past narratives shape the present moment. Armen states, "I would not be who I am if it wasn’t for my past." This shows that he holds a deep respect for experiential knowledge above all else and intends to capture that through this label venture. Furthermore, when isolated as “hoom” in Armenian it means “raw” and when artists are invited to be a part of Hoomidaas releases Armen asks them to imagine what the raw part of the sun (the other side of the sun that we cant see) would look like. He loves to challenge their perspectives and hear what experiential wisdom emanates from his fellow creators. 
 
The music, artists, and artwork/design are a huge priority for Armen. His mission is to hand-craft every aspect of Hoomidaas adding to its memorable intrigue via his experiences travelling and playing shows. He tells us that, "a few years ago I played a 12 hour set surrounded by the most beautiful artwork all over the walls of the space. That space is called Rambalkoshe. Since then we have been collaborating with Rambalkoshe and they’re who made our vision and art design come to life for many of the illustrations associated with the label." The synchronistic nature of the partnerships he embarks on are a strong indicator that intuition combined with drive can take you somewhere truly magical. 
 
Currently the label works with a handful of artists. They have each of their artists release a mix on their mix series called “Midaas” which comes out every two months. Additionally the label releases bi-annual compilations, one in the summer called “Hoom Side of the Sun” and one for the winter called “Hoom Side of the Moon”.
