Premiere: Nōpi - Liquid Week (Hrag Mikkel & Pambouk Remix) [Proton Music]

Please welcome a new talent on Zenebona. Alessio Serra delivers beautiful organic house tracks from his studio. This two tracker is a great example of his artistic value. Epic sounds & high quality organic atmospheres.Both tracks are running on a similar nice groove with funky bass line. 

The title track 'Talk In Space' takes us in a peaceful and happy mood. The piano and the other instruments lead the track, the break is like a deep meditation with an amazing vocal what is harmonizing with the sounds of nature. 

You can find the same quality in the second track on the release "The Sighed Voice', this one has similar elements, but different instruments. The big break like a deep inhale in the forest, you can hear some birds singing in the background. Easy to be lost in this track. The drop put you back to the ground and you can continue your journey with the soft melodies.

"Banzai" is based on the culture of the island of Okinawa, the place where Karate originated. Story of strength, love, and loyalty. Finally "Occi Azzurri" was created based on an Italian poem that a sailor dedicated to his homeland in World War II. Hoomidaas Records is the record label of the DJ/artist/producer/multi-instrumentalist Armen Miran along with his partner Christina Acobiance. The word Hoomidaas is a stylized acronym for the phrase “who made us”, paying homage to how past narratives shape the present moment. Armen states, "I would not be who I am if it wasn’t for my past." This shows that he holds a deep respect for experiential knowledge above all else and intends to capture that through this label venture. Furthermore, when isolated as “hoom” in Armenian it means “raw” and when artists are invited to be a part of Hoomidaas releases Armen asks them to imagine what the raw part of the sun (the other side of the sun that we cant see) would look like. He loves to challenge their perspectives and hear what experiential wisdom emanates from his fellow creators. 
 
The music, artists, and artwork/design are a huge priority for Armen. His mission is to hand-craft every aspect of Hoomidaas adding to its memorable intrigue via his experiences travelling and playing shows. He tells us that, "a few years ago I played a 12 hour set surrounded by the most beautiful artwork all over the walls of the space. That space is called Rambalkoshe. Since then we have been collaborating with Rambalkoshe and they’re who made our vision and art design come to life for many of the illustrations associated with the label." The synchronistic nature of the partnerships he embarks on are a strong indicator that intuition combined with drive can take you somewhere truly magical. 
 
Currently the label works with a handful of artists. They have each of their artists release a mix on their mix series called “Midaas” which comes out every two months. Additionally the label releases bi-annual compilations, one in the summer called “Hoom Side of the Sun” and one for the winter called “Hoom Side of the Moon”.
