We're excited to present the next exclusive cocktail by a youngster artist we're following for some time now. his very special creation (named by his friend: Salaar Khan) is an ode to the national beverage in his home country, Pakistan: please join us in welcoming Haider Uppal behind the counter and enjoy his delicious Murree Flurry! 

Born in Lahore, Haider Uppal has been receiving recognition by international artists and taste-maker record labels over his craft for the last couple of years. In the past, his originals have been put out on record labels such as Nie Wieder Schlafen, Dream Culture or Everything Will Be OK. 

His single Violet Woods, a co-production with Modulo out on Nie Wieder Schlafen last summer, is still buzzing through the Schirmchendrink headquarters. Recently, it was remixed by Berlin-based Soela. 

In the following months, Haider will be putting out his first EP, collaborations with veteran producer Luis Leon including a single alongside Luca Bacchetti remix, on Nie Wieder Schlafen. 

He's also the latest addition to YokoO's new imprint SATYA records and will be putting out music with him in the future. 

His style is a variety of deep and ambient house music, with a focus on groove. And so is this mix. Get ready for a refreshing summer sip!

Our Russian exotic step brothers have their own elegant and distinctive sound that carefully balances musical emotion with signature beats. Equally at home on the dance floor as well as your lounge floor in your Spotify playlist. 

Nikolai has been a long time fan of Peter Broderick and was given the opportunity to work with him last year. He (and Dimitri) took Peter's vocals and created something quite beautiful, both in Ambient form as well as the 4:4 version. Ta da! Their new EP was well on it's way to completion. 

Seeing as I'm never satisfied though I insisted they stayed up late for another week and the result was L'eternite. Harking back to one of their first releases (Calinerie) on the label this subtle melodic bomb will be heard as the sun sets or the sun rises across the universe this Summer.

Canopy Sounds is under the blue sky this week with Bross.

Our Romanian friend has established himself as one of quickly rising names in the deep, melodic/progressive scene. Aiming at developing and fostering community around groovy and melancholic vibes he founded Deep House Bucharest, a home for quality deep house music. Bross keeps the dancefloor satisfied with his commitment to the groove, which has led to major appearances alongside Lost Desert, Lee Burridge and Mihai Popoviciu. His studio sound ranges from delicate and dreamy, to more groovy, afrobeat and whimsical house sounds. His most recent project "Miragviglia EP" will be releasing on Magician On Duty in September. Hoomidaas Records is the record label of the DJ/artist/producer/multi-instrumentalist Armen Miran along with his partner Christina Acobiance. The word Hoomidaas is a stylized acronym for the phrase “who made us”, paying homage to how past narratives shape the present moment. Armen states, "I would not be who I am if it wasn’t for my past." This shows that he holds a deep respect for experiential knowledge above all else and intends to capture that through this label venture. Furthermore, when isolated as “hoom” in Armenian it means “raw” and when artists are invited to be a part of Hoomidaas releases Armen asks them to imagine what the raw part of the sun (the other side of the sun that we cant see) would look like. He loves to challenge their perspectives and hear what experiential wisdom emanates from his fellow creators. 
 
The music, artists, and artwork/design are a huge priority for Armen. His mission is to hand-craft every aspect of Hoomidaas adding to its memorable intrigue via his experiences travelling and playing shows. He tells us that, "a few years ago I played a 12 hour set surrounded by the most beautiful artwork all over the walls of the space. That space is called Rambalkoshe. Since then we have been collaborating with Rambalkoshe and they’re who made our vision and art design come to life for many of the illustrations associated with the label." The synchronistic nature of the partnerships he embarks on are a strong indicator that intuition combined with drive can take you somewhere truly magical. 
 
Currently the label works with a handful of artists. They have each of their artists release a mix on their mix series called “Midaas” which comes out every two months. Additionally the label releases bi-annual compilations, one in the summer called “Hoom Side of the Sun” and one for the winter called “Hoom Side of the Moon”.
