Inspiration 2

Miami based couple Dj and Producer duo Ani & Horacio Tlatelpa made the move to Miami Beach in March 2020 from New Jersey. Horacio started mixing at 13 years old and shared his passion of music with his wife Ani. Horacio raised  in Passaic, New Jersey, fell in love with house music at a very young age after hearing Tony Humphries mix on 98.7 Kiss FM. Ani, who grew up in New York, found her love of house music on the dance floor and spent many nights at house music parties all over NYC. They keep the New York vibe in their mixes leaning towards organic & electric drum patterns and Yoruba chants as well as Latin Rhythms. They Dj’d together throughout Miami at Boho, The Afterparty, Rosa Sky, Marseillis Hotel as well as various other restaurants, lounges and nightclubs including the legendary Jazid, ATV Records, SLS Brickell and The Anderson to name a few. They have been focusing their attention on production after gaining attention by playing their unreleased tracks in the clubs.

Their first release, Ibaye, on United Music Records placed #36 on the Afrohouse Chart on Traxsource with their follow up, SOL featured on Sparrow & Barbossa’s Tortuga Tribes label. Both Kibba and Maphorisa, released with United Music Records, broke the Traxsource top 100 on Afro House and Afro Latin Brazilian charts, consecutively in Summer 2024. Bia Lulucha released with the iconic NYC Nervous Record label August 9th, 2024.

They have opened for Sparrow & Barbossa, Pablo Fierro, DJ Spen, Jellybean Benitez, Anané Vega, Josh Wink and have played events with Lou Gorbea, Benny Soto, Hector Romero and more. Their musical influence stems from world and house music, jazz, rock & roll and especially, latin and middle eastern rhythm's.
