In Greek mythology, Deimos is the personification of fear and panic in battles, and twin brother of Phobos who represented fear. Together, they accompanied the god of war in every fight.

SORAYA [Vūdcast_006]

CONSTRUCT / DESTRUCT invites the renowned Berlin-based industrial techno label Furanum Records for their 15th-anniversary event in Riga, following the massive celebration hosted at Suicide Club Berlin earlier in May. Label's honcho Dominik Müller, who's active since the early 2000s and also known for aliases Uncto and Beuthen O.S., will premiere a new live program for his recently restarted solo project. A younger blood, yet already with a handful of works released by labels like Physical Pattern, MORD, Furanum, VūMantra and Nadryv Records, is the multimedia artist and producer Fangarm who shall showcase his brand of hard-hitting and experimental modular-driven live techno music, while Monolith Records head, respected producer and former Liber Null resident Sirio Gry J will serve his erosive sonic preferences via a DJ set, supported by label affiliate and ONE ONE resident SKD.

Following up his debut “Sycomore” Ep signed in 2015 on Arboretum with a remix of Samuel Kerridge, the Italian born, Berlin based electronic music producer Mogano returns on Voidance with his new work “Terrarium”.

By revisiting the inital approach of re-processing traditional eastern instruments such as the Egyptian Rebab into cinematic landscapes and sharp gritty textures, this work also consistently moves towards
more Industrial, Techno, IDM and Drum&Bass territories.

This Mediterranean cultural bridging got even more refined by the contribution of the Maltese producer Llimbs which reveals a vibrant, ritualistic reinterpretation of the opening track “Terrarium”.

Releasing music since 2009 as Sam KDC, British artist Samuel Wood has grown into one of electronic music's most passionate developers of the outer edge. In recent years, Sam has been an integral part of the Grey Area label and sound, a creative musical pathway that ties a musical bridge between 85 and 128 bpm with crafty polyrhythms. As further evidence of his versatility, his debut LP 'Late Night Innominate' Vol 1 (2015 - Auxiliary) was an entirely ambient long player which found favour across the electronic music world for its emotive power.

Omen Rising, Sam’s debut LP for Horo is also his first full length record to focus entirely on beat driven work. The album further incorporates the occult themes Sam has been using as pervading signifiers since his 2014 EP ‘The Order and the Entity’. Musically, Omen Rising sees the Grey Area sound re built into a hurtling fireball of energy stretching the constraints of what we know as Techno until the straps are blown off. 

Omen Rising is a confident showcase from an artist who has found a defining sound and is revelling in his ability to develop it entirely out on his own.

When we are asleep our conscious mind sleeps, but our subconscious mind remains awake. It’s at this stage, that true connection with the subconscious appears. Dreams are the messengers from one part of the brain to the other and create surreal narratives of which we are the observers.
In lucid dreams, we have the ability to realize we are dreaming and to control the dreams consciously. In such a powerful and profound experience, the conscious brain becomes active while a person is asleep. Here, we have the power to transform passive dreams into an alternative reality where we are able to sense everything just as we could in real life.
Lucid dreaming can reveal the incredible power of our brain while challenging our perception and the nature of reality itself.
