Synthwave Stream Opening WIP

I worked on some projects for my girlfriend's birthday, and made two versions of similar musical ideas. This version, with a few minor changes to the intro, could be entirely recreated on an NES sound chip. The reverb effect that appears during the choruses is done by very quietly repeating the melody once 16th note after each note on the secondary square channel.

I worked on some projects for my girlfriend's birthday, and made two versions of similar musical ideas. This version uses a DAW recreation of the YM6212 sound chip from the Sega Genesis. It is based on folk-punk bands such as Larry and His Flask.

Created for open source Link's Awakening fan-game Tetraforce. Originally was meant to be the theme for a forest, but was altered to be a beach scene with derelict ship. Could be recreated on a Game Boy Color sound chip.

This was my Electronic Music 2 final project in my senior year of college. We had many required components to fill, but I was really proud of the finished result. I'd like to use these similar ideas again, but with less restraints.

I Wish I Was Anderson Paak

This was originally written for a math quiz website. I was asked to create something that was pleasant, unobtrusive, and with a strict timing so students would know when the thinking period ended.

This is the half time version, the full time version was ultimately used in the quiz videos.

This was originally made as thinking music for a math quiz website. The track needed to be pleasant, unobtrusive, and have a set ending so students could know when their time was running out.

Thinking Music 3 Minute

Part of my music education was a semester long senior project. I chose to combine my passions of music and gaming to create a game soundtrack to match a story and art style.

The game itself is titled Arrington Clutch and is, in a nutshell, a game about vampires. Each song corresponds to a room of a mansion and has both a present day and flashback version of the piece built upon similar thematic material.

 The point of the project was to show my musical strengths and the buildup of my musical voice over 4 years of theory and composition classes, as well as extending my creative mindset outside of music.

The compositions mirror many techniques learned throughout my education, while also showing my path as a composer over the past four years.

The full soundtrack was made in FL Studio, using techniques learned in my production classes.
