Celebrating it's first anniversary, Bella Ursa Recordings is proud to present you the very first album from its head-honcho, Letherique.
Aurōra is a collection of post-apocalyptic music, but it doesn't go the way you might imagine. You won't find any harsh industrial sounds or even overly-dark tones in there. It’s more about the feeling of moodiness, the sensation of being lost and alone, and the exploration of vast, devastated, unknown territories. It’s about finding beauty in whatever remains, never losing hope… and rebuilding.
Birthed out of the chaos of the early days of the worldwide lockdown, these cathartic tracks are the perfect window into its creator's soul. Troubled by the pandemic as it is, this results in a genuine micro-snapshot of our deeply uncertain times.
More than ever, he felt like letting things go and just letting the machines speak for themselves rather than trying to fit into any box. Whether it's by mashing up virtual keytar with heavy 85BPM techno drums, dabbling in cheeky unexpected vibes, or cranking the melancholia up to 11 on beatless soundtracks pieces, Letherique takes you on a singular journey through a cosmic maelstrom of electronic tones, bringing the Bella Ursa mothership one step closer to the Beyond.

After a delightful first EP on Oráculo Records, Frust, one of the many side-projects of neo-coldwave sensation Blind Delon, has chosen Bella Ursa to continue carving its ‘Stone’ series.

At first glance, ‘Stone II’ might seem to instantly fit into well-known electronic tropes. However, a careful listen will reveal a savant assemblage of zero gravity electro with the band’s original roots in Wave and EBM. Expertly-crafted all the way around, these 6 singular tracks are a true testament to the band’s ability to deliver highly cinematic and haunting atmospheres. The future will appear nearer than ever, as will the ineluctable uprising of the machines and tales of cyber-warfare!

‘Stone II’ will be released digitally on all platforms, but also on a neon orange cassette with a freaky analog collage by the latest visual artist joining the Ursa family: Bapt Man.

Not much to say on this one, Mattias Östling aka @rolando-simmons is back in AF. You should know what you're in for: undeniably beautiful acid stuff, somewhere between propulsive and melancholy, lush but fidgety 4/4 beats…’Terrestrial Ultra-Doula EP’ is a 4-track adventure that deftly dabbles in rave, IDM, techno and beyond in classic RS style.
In his own words "Every completed project is the failure of an original idea and the triumph of a successful adaptation. These tracks were inspired by a dream and my subsequent reflections on it. Playing music for others is an act of alchemy that can alter thought patterns and life paths to varying degrees. It is a formidable power to wield." 
Östling is one of those artists who works in a specific continuum but adds his own touch here and there—and when it comes to reverb-drenched, acid-lashed, wound-up IDM pitter-patter, not many can do it as well, or as elegantly, as this.
Word, you're gonna need this one ;).
