this is a song i made for game called "Eggletopia" by Eggbert. the game is still a work in progress but you can try it online right now:

heavily inspired by tony thai's "coast 4", virt, maoki yamamoto, kiyoshi sugimoto, virt, spongebob, and others that do not come to mind as i type this at midnight.

the title having the same name as yoko kanno's "egg and you" is intentional! when i started making it i called it that cause i thought it was funny but then i grew on it so i ran with it. i rly love that track. would recommend.

i sampled Tancla's "lyle mays" vital preset in a snes soundchip emulator for this. you can try that preset and  a LOT of his other presets in his "3  years of vital" pack!

for the rest of the instruments i got the earthbound guitar and whistle, the chrono trigger strings...i forgot where the music box came from to be quite honest with you. the percs aren't snes but it's from this korg soundfont i got from musical artifacts.

this time, the samples in the pack were categorized into four bins, "up", "down", "strange", and "charm". I decided to write an album where each song only used samples from one category, and this was the result.

This song was the first song I wrote on WaveTracker (ver.1.0.1)

While it is a wavetable synthesis based tracker, it is also very feature-rich, with a wide range of effects, noise, and samples available
It is already a very cool tracker I think
