SOLOMUN  KOLLEKTIV TURMSTRASSE Diynamic ADE Showcase

Over 15 years ago up in Sweden, two young men started experimenting with deep, melody infused techno music. Not looking for fame or glory, but totally focussed on achieving altered stages of consciousness together with their audience, the duo was quickly recognised for their unique style and attitude. First touring the world as Son Kite, later as the well known Minilogue, it's hard find two artists who are more attuned to themselves, each other and their crowd as Marcus and Sebastian. &#13;

After touring and working together for so many years, being taken all over the world and having been part of so many special journeys and experiences, they thought it was time to explore new territories: their inner selves. This journey is one that someone has to make for themselves. As a result, Marcus and Sebastian have decided to put their cooperation as Minilogue on hold, indefinitely, for the time being. Both will be exploring their own inner selves, spiritually and musically. Both still being full on artists, they will be inviting their audiences along on the ride, exploring the depths of the psyche through trance inducing music, but from now on separately, Sebastian performing under his full name Sebastian Mullaert and Marcus choosing for his Nobody Home moniker.&#13;

Minilogue has been a big inspiration for years for everyone at SEKOIA, and the talk we had for our interview (also in DJMag NL) with them surpassed all our expectations of them having both feet on the ground but their heads up the clouds. These are artists that go beyond fame, beyond materialism. It's an honour to be able to host one of their last recordings as a duo, performed on new years day at Drift in Nijmegen.&#13;

<i>“Things don’t tend to change from one moment to the next. It’s a slow and evolving process. You always need a starting point, or a certain frame. Within such a frame, one has total freedom to create whatever they want and you can also pick whatever frame you want (depending on the matters you get in touch with in daily life). Many people are inclined to praise a chosen frame when achieving something beautiful, but to me it’s all about the freedom a certain frame provides me with. And if such a frame is coloured in in its entirety, I don’t want to hold on to it. I’d rather start colouring within a new frame, to gain inspiration for newer and different frames. At this point in time, the frame that is called Minilogue is completely full, which allows me to release it. I might very well return to it at a later moment.”</i> - Sebastian Mullaert &#13;

andhim are a German DJ and producer duo founded by Simon Haehnel & Tobias Müller. Since their start in 2010, they have published numerous songs and remixes and worked with artists such as Diplo, Rüfüs du Sol and Theophilus London on an internationally successful level.

With residencies in New York, Los Angeles, London and Berlin, they are among the most successful DJ duos in the scene. Over the last decade, andhim have manifested their signature sound without  any boundaries in expressing themselves on a creative level. They have cultivated an exceptionally loyal fan base of musical lovers all over the world. 

In 2020 their documentary film “Miles To Go“ was released. A road trip along the west coast of the US, which dives deep into the lives of the two on tour and how they work with each other. The film has been shown at several international film festivals so far and has won two coveted prizes: “Best Score” (Swindon Independent Film Fest, UK) and “Best Documentary Feature” (San Diego IKFF, USA). The music in the film was written exclusively by andhim and released as a soundtrack album on their own label Superfriends Records.

Superfriends Records is andhim‘s own label, founded in 2016. A label that captures a refined and contagiously unique electronic sound. It is an outlet for the duo’s most ambitious ideas. Among others, Artists like Roman Flügel or Acid Pauli released on the label.

"Broken Code" ist ein akustischer Abstieg in eine dystopische Cyberpunk-Landschaft. Das Album ist ein unerbittlicher Strom aus pulsierenden Sub-Bässen, fragmentierten Synth-Texturen und kargen, mechanischen Rhythmen. Eine wiederkehrende, glitchige Frauenstimme flüstert und stottert als korruptes Datensignal Schlüsselphrasen, die die Themen von Identität und Fehlfunktion in einer zerfallenden digitalen Welt erkunden. Jeder Track ist ein kaputtes Segment, das durch die unheilvolle Geräuschkulisse von Gewitter und statischem Rauschen verbunden wird. Ein Soundtrack für den "Geist in der Maschine", der sich von den Überresten einer verlorenen Realität ernährt.

Nation of Gondwana 2015 - one of the nicest festivals i have ever attended and an amazing experience coming back to play after many many years. Glad it was recorded.

Stories From Sa Talaia is an album, a compilation, a love affair and like the title says many stories. Some of those with friends and collaborators, some about my family and all somehow connected to Ibiza. 
It´s a showcase of what i learned in the studio and in the booth in the last 20 years and the combination of those skills. 
It´s my approach of how to present such work in our fast forward moving times. This is why this work as i intended it to be in mixed form will be available as a free download for all of you. For DJs the tracks will be available as 4 Album Chapters with single tracks in the next months.
