I wrote this piece to accompany a trailer I scored for "Hearts of Men." I had 3 days and the editor temped the trailer with Jonsi's music as well as a selection from Hans Zimmer's "Interstellar" score. Holy crap. How do you even compete? Well, you don't. You just write the best you can and hope you didn't completely fail.

I chose to blend my favorite melodies from two songs: Carol of the Bells and Veni, Veni, Emmanuel (O Come O Come Emmanuel) into a seamless piece of music. Because of the complex nature of these songs, I decided not to include lyrics - rather to accentuate my favorite pieces of each song with cello, fiddle and mythical vocals. 21.1.2018 - A capture of a spontaneous song that sprung from a jam session with the super cool Michael Reyes, while visiting Australia for the first time. It was inspired by a sermon we had heard earlier in the day at Impact Now, Bankstown challenging us to seek the heart of God for the city and reminding us of God's faithfulness.
