While the start of a new year often comes with a feeling of sluggishness, Elevate will be hitting the ground running with the launch of a brand new release series, Elevations. It’s a project focused on finding and supporting the best emerging talents from around the world, and it will take the form of an annual V/A compilation album. As a label, we’ve always been committed to bringing you the fattest dancefloor sounds from the best artists, but going forward, we also want to ensure we’re doing our bit to bring through the next gen of artists. Expect fresh sounds from a global crop of wicked names.

We're kicking off Elevations with a trip to Czech Republic, where a serious Ripple of energy has been forming of late. If you haven’t heard about Ripple yet then their latest single “Feels Like" will give you an insight into the neuro-fused dancefloor sounds this Czech duo are capable of. Despite only being around for a few years, Ripple have already self-released their debut Effect LP, and we guarantee there’s plenty more to come from this D&B powerhouse in the near future.

Whilst he’s busy on the airwaves hosting his weekly Kiss FM Drum & Bass show, Fred V has still dedicated the time to supply a brand new dose of spine-tingling euphoria on Hospital Records with his electrifying new single ‘Climbing The Walls (feat. Paul Dowling)’. The Exeter-based producer continues to amplify his signature solo sound following his streak of sensational cuts including ‘Dive (feat Tudor)’ released earlier this year, as well as his stunning debut album ‘Radiate’ which landed in the summer of 2021.

In classic Fred V fashion, ‘Climbing The Walls’ is an uplifting singalong anthem drenched in majestic synthwork and reflective toplines. Fred’s production mastery takes you on a journey through melodic atmospheres as he provides a crescendo of punchy drums, soothing violins and energising basslines which tie in perfectly with rising vocalist Paul Dowling’s rapturing vocals.

Fred’s killer back catalogue spans over a decade of some of the most well-respected modern drum & bass. As well as having his very own show on Kiss FM every Monday at 9PM, Fred is a frequent airwave sound supplier racking up support from the likes of Charlie Tee, René LaVice, MistaJam, Annie Mac and more throughout his career.
