After a hefty album debut single courtesy of Matrix & Futurebound and Blaine Stranger’s “New Energy”, the 20 Years of Viper celebrations continue, this time in the way of a reimagining of the absolute classic “Freefall”.

Metrik made waves on Viper 11 years ago alongside Reija Lee with the “Freefall”, and while the track still holds up today, Viper have enlisted Justin Hawkes to put a fresh new spin on this classic anthem for our 20 Years of Viper album due out later this year.

One of the hottest acts to come out of North America in recent years, Justin Hawkes, formerly Flite, is no stranger to Viper, and label boss Futurebound couldn’t think of anyone better to revisit such a classic tune.

Preserving the enchantment of the original while breathing a whole new energy into it, Justin Hawkes has perfected the delicate balance of old and new with his take on “Freefall” which is sure to be a hit with both fans of the original and the new generation of drum & bass heads.
