"Our soul sign reveals a lot about our character. The two tracks give you insights into our personalities. In their typology, which starts from our typical elements of Heerhorst's deep baselines and catchy melodies, Slin Bourgh's powerful and energetic style & PETER PAHN's marching and driving sound and his escalating mood. For this EP we met in Hamburg especially to be able to work on the project together in Heerhorst's studio. After three intensive days wich went into the nights. We're really proud to present you our two tracks "Sings of the Soul" and "4 To the Floor" which will be out on the 30th of July on CODEX Recordings!

Widely recognized as one of the brightest acts to emerge onto the international techno circuit over the past few years, Dok & Martin (a.k.a Victor Salvador and Adrian Martinez) have carved out an impressive early reputation through the quality of their productions and the hard-hitting impact of their DJ sets.
Following a collection of critically acclaimed releases dropped over the course of 2021, the in- demand Spanish duo now looks to continue their prolific run of form well into the New Year as they announce their debut release on Simina Grigoriu’s Kuukou Records with Catalepsia. Due for release on March 4, Catalepsia is a forceful, unrelenting slice of industrial warehouse techno from the two Spanish production partners, who land on Kuukou armed with an impressive catalogue of releases on the likes of FORM Music, Codex, Set About, Octopus Recordings, Mindshake, Unrilis, Say What? and Bloody Moon Records, to name just a few. Frenzied builds, growling bass and crisp hi-hats are the order of the day for the thunderous title track, which features an epic amalgamation of mind-warping synthesisers and merciless rhythms.
On the flip, and fresh off the back of her huge Rooftop Ballerina / Pirouette EP project, Kuukou label boss Simina Girgoriu offers her own unique edit of the masterful opener, with big kicks, thumping basslines and intricate drum patters providing the backdrop to another epic, multi- layered remix from the Berlin-based techno maven.

“Worst Poisons Taste The Sweetest” is based on a Shakespeare quote and plays with the theme from Romeo & Juliet: love and passion and their pull towards danger. The quote can be applied to many situations in life, especially in the underground club scene. The power of the night, whose pull can mean fascination and danger at the same time. The track plays with drum & bass and breakbeat elements, clear English vocals spoken by Isabelle, hardstyle kicks and a slightly melancholic melody, which changes three times in the track and thus interweaves more and more with the body of the track and is reduced further and further. This is intended to create a simultaneous pull into the track together with the Shakespeare-inspired lyrics.

LENSKE’s first release by Farrago, “Risin”, comes packing high velocity punches, including a collaboration with Amelie Lens and a remix from Kobosil. The EP’s A side is packed near 12 minutes of crisp machine driven techno with Farrago’s rattling peak-time “The Riddler” being the first to puncture. The title track, “Risin”, will only be released as the Kobosil remix, a titanium tour of auditory horrors, which also borrows from the EP’s other tracks. Lens’ signature sultry vocal samples on the B side’s “Jealousy” draw the contours of a jaw grinding banger, while “Hidden Power” rounds out the release with a blaring dance floor siren encased in exquisitely unpredictable arrangement.
