South America Avenue le da la bienvenida nuevamente a Cumele, artista de la provincia de Catamarca, Argentina.
Presenta su nuevo EP titulado "Keep It Fresh", una producción que refleja una evolución sonora dentro del progressive house, con un enfoque elegante y moderno.
El EP incluye dos piezas cuidadosamente construidas:
"Kusiya", una obra profunda y rítmica que combina texturas melódicas con una estructura envolvente. "Keep It Fresh", track que da nombre al lanzamiento, donde se destaca un groove fluido y detalles armónicos que completan una narrativa musical coherente y refinada.
Con este trabajo, Cumele consolida su identidad artística dentro de la escena electrónica sudamericana.

South America Avenue welcomes Cumele, an artist from the province of Catamarca, Argentina, back to the studio.
He presents his new EP, "Keep It Fresh," a production that reflects a sonic evolution within progressive house, with an elegant and modern approach.
The EP includes two carefully crafted pieces:
"Kusiya," a deep and rhythmic work that combines melodic textures with an immersive structure. "Keep It Fresh," the title track of the release, features a fluid groove and harmonic details that complete a coherent and refined musical narrative.
With this work, Cumele consolidates his artistic identity within the South American electronic scene.

MINDGAME Records is back with a superb new package from Parisian artist Juliann with remixes from Nick Morgan and Meloko & Konvex.

Juliann has gone from local hero to breakout star in a short space of time with gigs across Europe, the Middle East and the Caribbean. He has also dropped tunes on Knee Deep in Sound, his own label Temps Libre Records, and many more, and impresses once again here.

Dancin' On My Own features Indira May, a UK based vocalist who has featured on Gemini Gemini and Higher Ground. The track is a deep cut tune with warm, rubbery drums and broody pads that make a richly melancholic atmosphere. The vocal layers in smoky soul and it's perfect for intimate back rooms.

The Nick Morgan Remix pairs things back to an even more blissed out sound with meditative grooves and pensive chords that sooth mind and body. Meloko & Konvex then bring extra percussive flair and rolling fills, shakers and cosmic synth details for a more otherworldly sound.

All three tunes are tasteful cuts for discerning dancers.

Friday Island is back with its penultimate release of the year from cross-border prog duo Pete B & Rianu Keevs, featuring stunning remixes from Dowden and Andrés Moris. Pete and Rianu have been smashing it this year with high-charting releases on Prognosis, Critical Elements and JourneyDeep, and this release is bang on the sound we’re trying to push here at Friday Island.

First up is the original mix of ‘Unfamiliar Place’, a deep, dark and moody 4am heads-down vibe inspired by labels like Zero Tolerance and Plattenbank, combining growling bass, eerie pads and ominous vocals to devastating effect.

Next up is a remix from rising star and production genius Dowden who delivers an absolute monster of a tune, departing from his usual deep and melodic vibe with a darker mood that stays faithful to the original but adds raw, gritty bass, heavy percussion and an edgy detuned synth that absolutely slaps.

Finally, Argentinean prog producer Andrés Moris offers his interpretation – a driving, techy track that maintains the eerie, dark mood but takes us more into sci-fi territory with an aggressive robo bass and groovy drums guaranteed to lift the energy on any dancefloor.

Friday Island is a new progressive house label inspired by the magic of the early 2000s but with an eye firmly on pushing the future of the sound. Friday Island’s mission is to make music for dark sweaty rooms and those cosmic 3am dancefloor moments when you forget where you are.
