Leo Cap is a dubstep alias of Black Barrel - Russian dnb producer with releases on Metalheadz, Dispatch Recordings, Sofa Sound, Vandal Records & Spearhead to name a few. With such a powerful background of him there's big chance that you'll receive something special from the established artist on his first EP on a new territory. And you're getting this special ting on all 4 tracks of the EP without exceptions. Ruff dnb aerodynamic with tuff dubstep beats and pushy bass. There are three degrees of dancefloor pressure on the EP in the following order: 'Shake Your Flow' that have enough space for b’boy stances, 'Tremors' that makes pressure more obvious and dangerous, and finally 'White Eyes' that lefts no chances for all survivors. All these cuts works properly in right hands. 'Lost In Rave' without a doubt is the deepest cut on the EP that gives a listener great feelings of space and a rave trip. With heavy use of granular synthesis and resampling throughout the album, Icecold Solitude by OOTW easily pulls the listener in with its distorted aesthetic and haunting melodies. Dark and twisted Electronica at it’s finest produced by Joshua Nawrozki, Jonas Weluda, Forest Xeno Quinn French, who came together to form an elusive collective called OOTW.

In the post covid era, we all know solitude too well now and the title is an allusion to just that. This four track Future Phonk experimental beats Ep is a highly collaborative effort. When asked about what everyone’s contribution was, OUTOFTHEWIRE replied “It's important to understand that we all contribute equally when it comes to the creativity our sound depends on. We all contribute to every stage of the production, may it be sketching, sound-design, mixdown, composition..."

About OUTOFTHEWIRE

Founded in 2017, first releases on subotage recordings from Switzerland, encrypted audio from the UK, fringe worthy from denver and multiple releases with sound museum from Canada, singles on phuture collectives, presently lifted outlet and Incursion Rec as well as connections to stylss from portland and manuka from the UK, pathed the way for the outofthewire trio.

Style is key, while not settling for one genre you can definitely make out a certain aesthetic that has OOTW tunes standing out in a rave. Their first self release dropped on the 25th of June 2021 and is a complete twist on their very hip-hop influenced and experimental sound but doesn't fail to fit their unique vibe. Influences are broad with this trio as everyone has a unique background from deep dubstep to brutal death metal and back to post punk/indie pop each of the members brings their unique mindset that allows for this project.
