Icelandic producer Intr0beatz delivers Gabu Records’ 12th release with Drifting Signals, a deeper, dub-tinged take on his signature sound. Built around spacious grooves, echoing textures, and subtle low-end movement, the EP drifts into atmospheric territory with patience and finesse.

One year on since the first installment, the mighty Hot Creations turn up the heat as they get set to unleash ‘Hot Summer Jams 2’, featuring eight exclusive tracks from familiar faces and blossoming new talents.

The first half of the v/a welcomes back some favourite artists with the first track coming from label head and main man himself Jamie Jones, hot off the heels of some far reaching releases as Hot Natured and solo anthems. He delivers the storming future anthem, ‘Danger Mouse’. Next up Suara boss Coyu delivers ‘The Cat’ featuring the stunning vocals of Cari Golden. On an old school tip, New Yorker MANIK hits us with ‘Freak Your House feat. MC Kew G’ followed by a dance ready track from Alexis Raphael, who had his first track signed to Hot Waves back in 2011.

Dynamic duo Leftwing & Kody make their first appearance on the label as they team up with Cera Alba to deliver the heavy duty ‘I Got One Way’. Newcomers David Glass & CDC, Sean Branton and Neil Parkes also make their debuts on the label with serious impact. Bubbling with groove and energy, each of the tracks hold superior dance floor magic, road tested worldwide by the Hot Creations crew this summer, they are essential ammunition.

Co-founded by Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, Hot Creations has been going from strength to strength since it’s creation in 2010, releasing a comprehensive catalogue of music from well known artists and breaking new talents who have gone on to be some of the biggest names in the industry today.

2015 has seen a wealth of new productions from Jamie Jones including a collaboration with Kate Simko and the London Electronic Orchestra on his new label Emerald City, followed by another huge hit from his band Hot Natured plus the release of ‘Siberian Express’, recently named Essential New Tune.

Jamie Jones’ revered label Hot Creations is back with another hotly-anticipated EP. ‘Wobble Talk’ comes courtesy of Toronto-based DJ & producer Nathan Barato and features Sasha Brown.

‘Talk On’ featuring Sasha Brown displays Barato’s skill at building and releasing the pressure. Opening with rattling percussion and hi-hats, a rumbling bassline kicks in whilst the echoing, chopped-up samples of Sasha’s vocals are teased in and out. Two breakdowns build tensions until the full vocals become more evident and recognisable, the refrain of ‘Talk To Me Baby’ repeating until that rumbling bassline kicks back in.
‘Wobble Back’ is a more straightforward affair. A low-pitched ‘wobbling’ synth melody over the top of skipping hi-hats and a thumping bass forms the backbone of the track, whilst various samples and sounds echo in and out. A sparse breakdown towards the end of the track gives the track an extra punch when the bassline kicks back in.

Nathan’s profile has been rapidly rising of late, with previous releases on Cajual, MOOD, Relief, Saved and Circus Records as well as house stalwarts Defected. His worldwide touring schedule has been gathering pace, not just across his native Canada and the US, but also in Ibiza – he played Paradise, Do Not Sleep and Music On this season – and major events and venues across Europe; ADE, We Are FSTVL and The Warehouse Project to name a few.

Madrid native Dennis Cruz makes his Solid Grooves Records debut with three rumbling cuts including a remix from fellow countryman Wade.

Since his debut in 2010, Cruz has become a staple in Beatport’s charts, not to mention the sets of artists such as Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Nicole Moudaber, Yousef and Roger Sanchez. Throughout this time the likely producer has dropped releases on Saved, Deeperfect, Stereo Productions and Kinetika, not to mention his very own imprint Lemon-Aid Music. He now arrives on PAWSA & Michael Bibi’s Solid Grooves Records, joining the likes of Wade, Kuo Climax and Rockwell & Landers for an exciting second year for the label.

Initiating with the sound of a roaring crowd, ‘See Line’ was produced with the dancefloor in mind using thudding kicks, arcane vocal samples and an energetic rhythm. ‘Heads or Cruz’ is a more low-slung number with a focus on a killer groove, whilst ‘Bienvenido’ engages in a medley of percussive elements geared for peaktime antics. Tying the package together, Wade remixes ‘See Line’ to give it his signature twist whilst ensuring the heady vocals reiterate throughout.

Und schon Claude Von Stroke, Joris Voorn und Serge Devant, um nur ein paar zu nennen, stehen auf das neue Stück von @bontanmusic, der aus dem Nordwesten Großbritanniens stammt. Das housige Stück ist Teil der Amsterdam Dance Event-Compilation des spanischen Labels @elrowmusic. Die verwickelte und ansteckende Bassline und süchtig machenden Vocals machen diesen sechsminütigen Track zu etwas Besonderem. (...)

British producer Mark Jenkyns joins Hottrax with two separate collaborations alongside vocalist MIZBEE and Ecuador’s Andre Salmon titled ‘Sirens’. 

Having released on Hot Creations, Suara, Of Unsound Mind, Rebellion, Lost Records and Resonance Records, Mark Jenkyns has unquestionably established himself as one of the most sought after producers in modern day house music. As a DJ Jenkyns is a regular name on the line-ups of Paradise Ibiza, when not making appearances at the likes of The Warehouse Project, Lightbox, Digital, Egg and BPM Festival. 

Snappy snares and a meandering bassline lay the foundation for ‘Sirens’ as it continues to generate an infectious rhythm alongside MIZBEE’s scintillating vocal; luring listeners in much like the mythological creature that inspired the track title. Teaming up with Andre Salmon - who’s released on Repopulate Mars, Leftroom and Resonance - ‘Hey Honey’ is a trippy number complete with a heady groove, chopped-up vox samples and synth stabs that’s destined to inject life into any dancefloor it’s dropped.

Madrid based DJ and producer Dennis Cruz delivers two dance floor focussed house cuts on Solid Grooves this October.

A mainstay in the house and techno community, Dennis Cruz has consistently delivered high quality material on Stereo Productions, Snatch! and Suara to name but a few, garnering support from the likes of Marco Carola, Jamie Jones and Nic Fanciulli. This reputation has earned him a number of awards, including winning Best Producer in this year's DJ Awards, not to mention nominations for Best Spanish Artist, Best Producer and Best DJ from Vicious in 2016. Dennis Cruz' success in the industry continues this October with a busy touring schedule, featuring multiple performances at this year's ADE, as well as his return to Solid Grooves Records with 'Rock & Roll EP'.

'Rock & Roll' opens the release with a rumbling low end and grooved drum loops, allowing exciting snare rolls to build towards an inspiring vocal and hypnotic mid-range motifs before 'Get Ready' uses a vocal with more musicality which interacts the melodic bass hook, rising synth rhythms and shimmering hi hats to close out the release smoothly.

Nic Fanciulli's first appearance on Rejected came back in 2009, when he took over "Room 3" of the labels famous Dusty House. This was followed by last years "Together", his co-production with label boss Joris Voorn and today he returns to Dutch shores again with his latest brace, "Movin' On" and "Round & Round."

With "Movin' On" featuring in his brand new and ready to roll 'Balance' compilation, our timing couldn't be better. Perfect for the summer floors, it rolls heavy with Fanciulli's trademark drive and funk. Breaking out the harmonica and letting the divas holla, he drops the bass in the synth-lead breaks before slamming it back for, dare we say it, those real hands in the air moments. The terraces eagerly await.

Pulling no punches on the flip, we have "Round & Round." In typical heads down fashion and with a dizzying display of hats and snare, Nic turns in a floor burning tool that could easily demand its very own room in Rejected's dusty abode. Two strong cuts from one of the most consistent producers of today.
