As the dust finally begins to settle after the release of Pan-Pot's massive album 'The Other', it's time to unleash a collection of heavy hitting reworks from the best and brightest stars of todays techno elite. Through careful consideration and an acute attention to detail, we couldn't be more elated to confirm ten artists we know and love to contribute their unique vision to Second State's first ever remix package.

Kicking things off with a heavily twisted alteration of 'Attention' is Nicole Moudaber and it's a tangled, dark trek through dense acoustic layers of audible madness. Next up is the Hamburg duo

Extrawelt with their twist on 'Optimistic Grey' and they deliver a beautiful blend of emotion and groove they are synonymous for.

Following suit is another passionately romantic number from man of the hour, Stephan Bodzin, and his take feels like floating through a sea of clouds, resulting in a timeless classic to be a focal point in any set for years to come.

Next in line is Ray Kajioka's take on '808 Nirvana' and it's a cosmic ride, ripe with swirling atmospherics laid over big churning drums and rolling cymbals.

Following up on the second 12“ of this LP is a man who needs no introduction: Carl Cox. And in true Coxy fashion he turns 'Riot' into just that: a big room, tension building monster!

Broken Engine' is the next track to get worked over and Wigbert delivers a stunning mix of shimmering tones and growling bass resulting in a lush venture through a cosmic backdrop of flickering stars in deep space.

Joseph Capriati ensues with his vision of 'Fugitives' and he brilliantly keeps the vibe of the original yet adds his trademark big room flair to take it to another level of driving euphoria.

Enlisting the talents of Alan Fitzpatrick to remix one of the slower listening tracks on the album turned out to be magic. With his signature percussion, Fitzpatrick takes the parts and creates a dive deep into sultry smooth waters of seduction.

The first of our last two remixes, which are digital exclusives, come from Paul Ritch and he delivers a grinding rendition of 'Riot', expertly crafted for the more euphoric peak time occasions.

Last and certainly not least is a man on the rise, Kevin Knapp with his twist on his own collaboration with Pan-Pot: 'Get In'. An expertly crafted tech house jam exploding with energy and attitude perfect for any moment, day or night, indoors or out.

No matter the time or place, there is something here for everyone and we are truly fulfilled and honored to present this package of cutting edge artists to celebrate this landmark moment. We know you will enjoy!

Fatima Hajji launches Silver M her new record label and what a better way to baptize the record label than with this debut EP “SLV MOON” due to be released on the 16th of December. Following the success of the events she’s been organizing it was only natural to take the same concept and create her very own imprint.
On this debut 5 track EP, Fatima reflects her DJ techniques with her production skills and treats us with an energetic, heavy hitting, dance floor filler with the track “SLV”, it’s something that really gets you up and moving. With her second track “MOON” she shows a completely different side a refined, groovy sound, a great track to add to any set.
On remix duties Frankyeffe and TecHouzer provide two completely different takes on the track “Moon”. Frankyeffe gives us a dark, techno-roller with a nice acid touch, sure to be a hit in the clubs. While TecHouzer serves us a groovy, percussive, full of flavor, tech-house banger. And last but not least Alberto Ruiz completes the EP with his dark, industrial, no nonsense techno, remix of the track “SLV”.
This is a great way to end the year for Fatima and Silver M, 2017 shall be a huge year for Fatima Hajji and her record label. Her next release is due in January so we can expect great things in 2017.

First of all happy new year to everyone! Fatima Hajji is kicking off 2017 with another huge release on her record label Silver M. This is the second release on the label another 5 track EP full of peak time dancefloor fillers.

“Silence EP” is due to be released on the 20th of January and includes 2 original pieces from Fatima. The track “Silence” is a high-energy no-nonsense techno banger, a real crowd-pleaser sure to get the darkest clubs in Europe moving. Her second track “TLOK” is a fun, energetic, groover that will bring a smile to anyone dancing to it.

On remix duties David Temessi and Marla Singer provide two different approaches to the track “Silence”, David Temessi is a great example of the phrase “less is more” his remix is subtle but packs a nice punch giving the track a more industrial harder feel. Marla Singer takes a completely different approach transforming the original, adding his personal touch, a great remix with some classy personality. Finishing off the EP with a bang is Karretero with his stripped down remix of “TLOK” an absolute techno stomper.

What a great start to the year for Fatima and Silver M, by the looks of things 2017 is going to be a huge year with lots of new music.

Frankyeffe is back on SILVERM with a bang after previously editing a killer remix for Fatima Hajji's track 'Moon', he's presented his first original EP on the label and boy is it a banger. Frankyeffe is so hot right now editing on some of the biggest labels of the moment like Terminal M and Tronic, we feel honored to publish this EP due to be released on the 26th of May.

He kick's off the EP with 'Countdown' a slow building, moody, techno stomper and once it hits it's climax is sure to tear the roof of any venue. Next up is 'Crowd' a slightly more groovy with a hypnotic arpeggio that carries out through the whole track taking the listener on a trip to planet techno.

On remixing duties first up is Tony Dee with a fresh take on the track 'Countdown' adding a harder, darker, industrial sound this one's definitely gonna be a destroyer on the dancefloor. Finishing up this EP is the label head honcho Fatima Hajji, with her remix of 'Crowd' a ball of energy sure to inject a boost of adrenaline into any set, groovy, fun and high-quality techno.

Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave label has been busy laying down foundations for the past twelve months. The run-away success of their debut single “We Do What We Want” is far from the entire story. Much of the last year has been spent “getting their hands dirty”; nurturing new talent (such as Boxia, whose “Point Of No Return” hit set summer stages alight), developing and establishing an events concept (via WATB parties in Manchester, London, Glasgow and Ibiza), and gathering like-minded artists and their music together to support the labels burgeoning release schedule. 

We Are The Brave was set up as a community. At the core of this enterprise is the spirit of collaboration. A partnership between like-minded creatives. An alliance between artists and fans. A hub for sharing ideas and for working together. Nowhere has this spirit been most apparent than between the growing partnership between Alan Fitzpatrick and Darius Syrossian. Individually, they are both figureheads of brands and headliners in their own right, however, both are open-minded enough to realize that they are stronger together than they are competing for every inch of space within an increasingly overcrowded market.   

“It’s great to see how Alan operates. It's normal for him to be a resident for a party like Do Not Sleep in Ibiza but at the same time pushing his own We Are The Brave brand and instead of this creating a conflict, he manages to create a win-win for all sides. He is such a down-to-earth and humble guy but he makes unreal music and brings just as much passion when he DJs.”   

Indeed, it is that same unpretentious sentiment that is at the core of Syrossian’s “Made For Manchester”, as Syrossian explains, “I was a weekly resident in Manchester from 2008 to 2015 and the city means the world to me as a built a strong connection with the crowd there. I don’t get to play the city as often as I’d like now due to my touring schedule, so I wanted to make a track for the city, one that I know has my signature sound but also an emotive feel to show home much love I have for Manchester”. 

And Syrossian’s thoughts on Fitzpatrick’s remix? “I love the fact that Alan can bring old skool rave sounds back into his music while keeping it underground. My original is quite heavy in parts and the breakdown is very main room, but Alan has put a perfect twist on the original and together the two tracks make for a perfect package”

Ease The Pain' is the first EP of a completely new sounding string of releases and will be followed by offerings on Gigolo Records, Kompakt and Hot Creations amongst others. The idea of creating different tracks like these came to me when I was at DC10 at Circoloco this summer dancing in the crowd. The beat of 'Africana' was born at that moment and I also had a clear idea of the mood of the vocal. 'Ease The Pain', on the other hand, has a strong house identity, which I'm well known for, coupled with a current tech house beat.

Nic Fanciulli's first appearance on Rejected came back in 2009, when he took over "Room 3" of the labels famous Dusty House. This was followed by last years "Together", his co-production with label boss Joris Voorn and today he returns to Dutch shores again with his latest brace, "Movin' On" and "Round & Round."

With "Movin' On" featuring in his brand new and ready to roll 'Balance' compilation, our timing couldn't be better. Perfect for the summer floors, it rolls heavy with Fanciulli's trademark drive and funk. Breaking out the harmonica and letting the divas holla, he drops the bass in the synth-lead breaks before slamming it back for, dare we say it, those real hands in the air moments. The terraces eagerly await.

Pulling no punches on the flip, we have "Round & Round." In typical heads down fashion and with a dizzying display of hats and snare, Nic turns in a floor burning tool that could easily demand its very own room in Rejected's dusty abode. Two strong cuts from one of the most consistent producers of today.
