Tel Aviv Based artist, Dj Split signs to the Paris based imprint label, Epicure Records and announces his debut EP which will be out July 14th, 2023.   

The 4-tracker perfectly showcases his unique approach to modern electronic dance music blending subtly genres from trance to house music.    

First track, Treelely, opens the ball with a full-throttle house banger with no shortage of interesting elements. Its drums and pumping bassline is topped with trancey and psychedelic reverbs FX. 

“Ness” is tireless and it grows darker and more powerful as the minutes pass by. Militant drums, battered electronics and lovingly drowned vocals hypnotically pulse and reverberate.

 Third track is a psychedelic cosmic adventure jangling percs, drums and fuzzed-out synths.

  Finally the last track is the perfect blend of psychedelic trance music and pure house melody that gets stuck in your head for a long time.

  With this EP Dj Split creates a rich spectrum of sound that takes listeners on a journey through a range of emotions and genres.  

Close your eyes, sense the tracks' bewitching vibe and rhythm and have a majestic stellar ride.

Hottrax continues to spotlight tomorrow’s talent with the arrival of Manchester-based duo MINDLESS., who make their label debut with the bold and club-focused ‘Turn It Up’ EP. Formed by Harry Carvell and Kieran Dearden, MINDLESS. is a new name emerging from the UK’s house landscape. Having only launched the project earlier this year, the pair have quickly found traction, catching the attention of tastemakers and DJs alike. Now, just months after their first release, they step onto Jamie Jones’ influential imprint, joining a catalogue renowned for championing fresh artists and future sounds. 

“Honestly, we can’t believe that in the space of six months we have gone from making our first track together for fun after work, to getting a Hottrax EP - a label that was only considered a dream to release on back in February. We thought it might be a joke because we really didn't expect this so soon! The title track ‘Turn It Up’ kicks things off with crisp drums, snaking bass, and a tight, looping groove that keeps momentum at its core. It’s a confident label debut, signalling an exciting start for the Manchester pair as they join a growing wave of new artists pushing things forward.

The tale of this disc that has been given the name “Flashbacks” come from two brothers from Uruguay, Nico and Fede Lampariello. The vast knowledge of musical production has been demonstrated, all within the true style of the underground. Produced with a Uruguayan flavor, putting that cherry on the top that we all know and love. With the musical flavor that the Lampariello’s have provided its essence can be felt through whole of the dark universe as its existing. It is an utmost pleasure to be welcoming these particularly talented siblings to the label with these four club-ready cuts, that has been pressed for the specific time when the action needs to be shown.
