Joshwa makes a much-anticipated return to Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations this July with his irresistible two-tracker ‘Lost In Music’. Following the runaway success of 2023’s ‘Bass Go Boom’, which quickly became one of the year’s most played tracks, championed heavily by the likes of John Summit, Gorgon City, Fisher, MK, and BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard, the two-tracker delivers two contrasting moods, serving up fresh heat from sunset to sunrise.

Leading the release, title track ‘Lost In Music’ reimagines a timeless disco classic through a contemporary house lens, delivering textured percussion, sparkling funk-laced synths, and an infectious groove that captures the euphoria of summer dancefloors. On the flip side, ‘High’ shifts to a moodier, club-focused sound, featuring deep bass rumbles and Joshwa’s trademark powerful, tension-filled breakdowns, propelled by a driving bassline built to move crowds.

Since breaking through in 2022 with major collaborations alongside Lee Foss, CID, and Martin Ikin, the UK DJ and producer has remained a dominant force on the global tech house circuit. Currently in the midst of a busy summer schedule, with performances lined up at the likes of Paradise and elrow, and backed by ongoing Beatport chart success, he adds to his recent Black Book Records heater ‘GDH’ with an impressive high-energy return to Hot Creations for his second outing.

For fifteen years, Hot Creations has been the beating heart of house and electronic music culture; a label that has defined a sound, shaped a community, and launched careers that now dominate dancefloors across the globe. From its inception, co-founders Jamie Jones and Lee Foss envisioned more than a record label. They created a platform where the pulse of underground music could thrive, where innovation and groove collide, and where both emerging talents and established icons could find a home. And at the center of it all, guiding the label’s sound, nurturing its community, and continuing its evolution, Jamie’s magnetic presence has seen him flourish as a DJ and producer at the top of his game. 

His latest single, ‘Murder Mystery’, is Jamie in full command of that legacy. His first solo release on Hot Creations since 2022’s ‘Bionic Boy’ EP, it’s a track designed to move, mesmerize, and captivate with every listen. Rolling basslines, intricate percussion, and a subtle tension pulse beneath the playful surface, making it a record built for late nights, festival main stages, and intimate spaces alike. It’s a statement of intent, and a reminder of why Jamie’s groove-driven productions continue to set the standard for house music worldwide. 

Adding to weekly Hot Creations takeovers in the UNVRS Bunker throughout the Ibiza season, the release is framed by an extraordinary run of events across the 15th Anniversary year, with Paradise shows in parallel, such as the Ibiza Closing Party, Warehouse Project, and ADE, as well as headline US dates in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami. 

With ‘Murder Mystery’, Jamie Jones delivers more than a track. It is the culmination of a moment: the merging of both joint and collective visions, the continuation of a hot streak following his recent collaboration with Nicole Moudaber on the label, and a celebration of fifteen years of Hot Creations shaping the sound and spirit of house music globally. This is Hot Creations at its most alive, at its most vibrant, and Jamie at his creative best.
