“I made this track within the arc of two days in my studio in Ibiza. Came together like dat! It draws inspiration from that golden-era hip-hop energy (think A Tribe Called Quest) but with a fresh, modern edge. I never sent any music to Jamie before until he started playing ‘U Don’t Want This’, which helped define my musical style a bit more. Coming out on Hot Creations after many years in the scene is truly a dream come true.” - Luca Saporito.
Adding to the package, Rome’s Whitesquare has been proving himself as a DJ and producer of note since 2012, blending deep house and techno to deliver fresh, eclectic vibes. Snoozing the Music from Plants C1 is a 4-track EP that explores the frontier of post-digital music creation, where organic, biological inputs merge with artificial intelligence under the careful guidance of human curation. This project serves as a practical application of the Sergej Snooze current research. analyzing the intersection of objective data, technical execution, and emergent aesthetic patterns.

The Creative Process: A Fusion of Three Intelligences. This EP is a genuine act of co-creation involving three distinct stages of intelligence:

The Bio-Generated Signal (Nature as Input): The entire foundation of this EP began with the raw, bio-generated electrical signals captured directly from a plant. This original sound, recorded as an audio sample ("Music from Plants"), provides the organic, evolving lead melody and core timbre that drives all four tracks. It is the initial, non-human data input.
The AI Interpreter (The Socio-Technical System): The raw plant signal was fed into Suno AI, a sophisticated generative music platform.

The Human Curator (The Emergent Pattern Analyzer): The crucial final—and most time-consuming—step was human curation. From dozens of AI-generated iterations and extensions, the best four tracks were selected based on their ability to elicit the desired output that suits Sergej Snooze public appearance in terms of music expression  This highlights a key finding: in a post-digital world, human selection and curation are as vital to the creative process as the initial generation of the music itself.

A Research-Driven Release
Ultimately, Snoozing the Music from Plants C1 is not just a collection of songs; it is a sonic experiment demonstrating that meaningful, impactful art emerges from the dynamic interplay between biological life, powerful algorithms, and critical human decision-making.
