Meet our latest discovery Jarreau Vandal (Pronounced Juh-Row)all the way from Amsterdam! This dude is by far one of the most talented artists that we've discovered in recent times. It was about a month ago that we found out about him when Iamnobodi brought him to our attention and told us how he met Jarreau at a show in Amsterdam. Iamnobodi said Jarreau sent him a folder of unreleased beats (including some of the tracks on this White Label) and was blown away! As you can hear for yourself Jarreau's production is very mature and ahead of time. We truly feel that he is next up to blow. Keep your eyes and ears open for plenty of more music to come from Jarreau and Soulection.

The Riddim Сhronics mix series is live! It's a great pleasure to present not just a new mix but something really special!

Six years ago, Skotcha @undermeth released “Homegrown Edition” a 140 bpm mix, consisting of 99% unpublished tracks by Russian-speaking musicians. The mix included both established artists and newcomers. The mix was definitely a success: having collected thousands of plays, it showed the scale and depth of the scene and it’s still listens in one breath (inhale it https://soundcloud.com/dubraw1/homegrown-edition-riddim-chronics).

Today Skotcha aka Lord Of Vityazevo returns with “Homegrown Edition Pt. 2”, which (as is already clear) consists of music from Russian-speaking producers. The tracklist, full of familiar and native names, presents actual sound of the scene in the forms of newly released material, exclusive dubplates, as well as gems from “private collections”. This time the speed range of the mix covers the spectrum from 130 bpm to 140 bpm. In terms of energy, there is a place to do a proper skank, dive into mosh pit, or immerse yourself in deep medi. Judging by the lineup, we can confidently say that the mix includes names that represent the vanguard of the independent Russian-speaking scene. Respect to every artist!

In the 6 years that have passed since the release of the first part of “Homegrown Edition”, the scene has reached a new level. The number of promos, labels and artists that are exploring and expanding the horizons of bass music is steadily growing, and the connection between bass oases is becoming stronger. We follow each other, support and enjoy new music, acquaintances and meetings. And this is just the beginning. As long as music is a universal language, we will speak it in the name of peace, love and unity.
