''Deekline and Tony Quattro's "Deep In The Jungle" EP was one of the highlights of last year's release calendar on the Hot Cakes main man's Gutter Gutter imprint. Now, he's enlisted some of the freshest UK Bass talents around for remix duties in the form of Spookz, Fish, Lucent & Pelikann and they've well and truly smashed it. Lucent & Fish start things off, reworking "I Can't Wait" into a rugged 4/4 fidgety stomper. Next up Spookz comes in with a Bassline vibe, using high end wobbles and sick broken beats. Moving on, and Fish goes solo on "Deep In The Jungle", delivering a broken breaks vibe with heavy womp action. Finally, Pelikann & Lucent team up for their own take on "Deep In The Jungle", going in with hard a trappy UK bass cut. It’s been over a year since Albzzy first linked up with the Southpoint family on his first 'Introducing' release, so his return to the platform is long overdue. After a super successful string of shows across the states earlier this year he has blessed us with this super groovy composition by the name of ‘Shutdown Season’. This track represents Albzzy’s maturing wars as a producer, focusing more on subtle bass manoeuvres and intricate rhythmic design, resulting in an extremely smooth 4x4 ride out.
