Written during a period of time with heartache and self discovery. Self Acceptance was the greatest gift I learned during this time. Being able to find closure on your own when healing from past hurts and moving forward with a pure heart is all we can ever hope for when saying goodbye.

Always used to play this song with an old housemate. We loved to harmonize like the sisters in the show. This song always reminds me of my late and amazing Aunt Maggie who we lost to cancer in 2016. She loved and loved her life to the fullest in the most simplest ways. She was loved by many everyone and missed by all who knew her. I can hear her singing this song whenever I play it. 

Recorded at home on my front porch using GarageBand on my iPhone. I enjoy the subtle yet dramatic juxtaposition to the song with the emergency police sirens at the end of the track. Happy accidents!
