East Bay Express had good things to say about this eleven song debut full-length from Hotel Eden: "It might be tempting to describe Hotel Eden's debut full-length Rewind as "psychedelic," but that cliché would fail to capture how remarkable this release is."  Written and produced by Hotel Eden founder and frontman, Kelly Warner, Rewind strikes out into new creative territory for the band—reflecting a focus on expansion and experimentation, while still retaining signature pop hooks, pitch-perfect melodies and an infectiously danceable groove. Begun in Ohio, before Warner’s move to the Bay Area, the album took three years to complete and features an arsenal of instruments, beats, effects and production wizardry to tell its story. “Golden Sun” has a light-hearted message and toe-tapping rhythm that inexplicably brings you to your feet and puts a smile on your face. ”Nimble Girl” meanwhile has a darkly catchy triphop-ish groove that sets the stage for a somewhat haunting, bittersweet tale.  “Something We Know” takes us on a high-energy, beats-heavy ride over the Mexican Border (by way of El Centro, CA) to escape the country with some mysterious evidence in hand.  “Wait For Me” is a heartfelt nod to three of Warner’s childhood friends, and “Pressure” is a frantic dive into 60’s psychedelic rock.
 
Throughout 2012 and into 2013, Hotel Eden has been steadily honing its energetic live show, gaining a fan-base and solidifying its name in the Bay Area indie rock community as a band with a unique sound and growing momentum. Hotel Eden plays regularly at established local venues such as Berkeley’s Starry Plough, Oakland’s Night Light, San Francisco’s Milk Bar and Brick and Mortar Music Hall, and has been featured on Berkeley’s KALX. Rewind, the bands first full-length offering, is certain to help further propel this growing success.

Hotel Eden is the genre-blending music of Kelly Warner, a songwriter, producer, and sound designer who lives in Sarasota, Florida, USA.
