David Lynch's Christmas Trees

I've been listening to a whole lot of the Flaming Lips again, especially my personal favorite album of theirs, Transmissions from the Satellite Heart. Trying to get the creative juices flowing again after Water, I recorded a cover of the opening track, "Turn it On."
Written by The Flaming Lips, performed by Conor Jansen on guitar, whistles, vocals and transistor radio.

Finally recording for a new album. The next album is called "Children" and I've got a lot of things written but very little finished.
This is a song about a wonderful person I met when I was taking the train a lot and about how she had a lot of very bad things happen to her but then a lot of very good things happened to her which made me happy.
Actually used the old electric guitar for this one.
This is a very rough take, you'll probably be able to hear me singing when I record a finished version. I'll also write down all the lyrics because half of these are off the top of my head.

This is just a mostly improvised little ditty of reflection as the year comes to an end.
