This was back in 2013, when SoundCloud had just started rolling out its premiere feature. One of the first to embrace it were LYO — the Parisian DJ duo playing gigs all around the globe, constantly sharing new music through their SoundCloud page. Always open to help, support, or offer advice, they quickly became a key part of the scene.

It’s no secret that when we started our podcast series, we were influenced by pages like LYO and Krossfingers. They’ve been a source of inspiration for years.

Today, we’re happy to announce a major milestone: the 350th episode of our main podcast series — and who better to mark the occasion than the kings of premieres themselves, Les Yeux Orange.

@tom-jarmey returns with a new single, ‘glass like water’, where emotive chords, warm arps and beautiful vocals take us to a happy place, a sad place, and a place of comfortable introspection. 

A standout from his forthcoming ‘daybreak' LP on @interceptrecords, a widescreen second album weaving ambient textures, dusty drum breaks and hazy melodies into a deeply emotive listening experience.

Premiere: Tom Jarmey 'glass like water'

At some point in every producer's life, the urge to write an acid tune becomes irresistible, and for Grimey Electro pioneer Sir Hiss, that point is apparently now. Claps as sharp as Blade's blade in the film 'Blade', the kind of tension that can only be described as being 'just like the rave scene in Blade', and of course some iconic Grime sampling shenanigans all conspire to create an unholy banger of such blood-sucking power as to compel Wesley Snipes to pay his tax bill. Bad.

Meanwhile, M300 Tool showcases the further reaches of Hissian hardware exploration, taking a vintage TC Electronic unit and some hardware analogue drums for a spin down Flanger Lane, which is, of course, a minimal yet tuff thoroughfare leading to either Banger Estate or MC Village (MC not provided).

Finally, on EP closer 'Synchronisation', the NMM label boss, fresh off duppying Outlook for the Pineapple Records takeover, indulges the current temptation to 'get a bit proggy' with it, lacing synth arpeggios, bouncing toms and spacious bass tones together to answer the questions no one has yet dared to ask, namely 'what if Sasha & Digweed were from Bow E3?' and 'what if Northern Exposure wasn't really boring?' - The NMM / Bedrock beef starts here...

Kairogen took it over from Ángel Negrín, going for a deep, driving journey through techno, beats, and progressive house that brought the dancefloor to a f final dance.

Kairogen is a DJ and producer from Glasgow. She holds residencies with Slam’s Return To Mono at Sub Club, femme techno night Epika and is a regular at Headset. Her DJ sets encompass a wide range of music throughout the house, techno and electro spheres.

@wearelocalgroup (AKA LMajor and Joe Nonlocal) make their debut on @maximumairtime with two hands-in-the-air breakbeat anthems and a dark post-garage remix from UK techno royalty Jerome Hill. 

Cutting their teeth as residents at UK festival Field Maneuvers,  Local Group channel hardcore,
breakbeat, garage and jungle into an atemporal rave sound. They've previously released on
Ritual Poison, Secret Rave, 1Ø PILLS MATE, and GODDEZZ, and hosted an all-night
takeover of Fabric highlighting their multi-genre sound.

Based out of Bushwick’s Human Head Record store, California’s Shawn Dub and Germany’s Sticky Dojah bring you the „Records Before Rent“ show. Each month they play their latest finds and your all time favorites. Both won’t shy away from themed sets (their post election healing set was a favorite!) and often feature guests from all around the world. 

All vinyl, all live, all soulful. Both are heavy diggers and seasoned party rockers and love to bring it all together on air. Expect the odd classic as well as tracks and versions you’ve never heard before.

SCB - FutureUnknown

Hotflush is a record label launched by Paul Rose aka Scuba in 2003. Its early period was spent as a central part of London's Bass Music scene which exploded in the mid 2000s, although the label has always been difficult to pigeonhole musically and recent output has focused on Techno and House.
