25 years-deep at the forefront of soundsystem culture, via their legendary Friday night dances and DJ mix series, the iconic FABRICLIVE welcomes a new chapter, with their inaugural artist release, by @SullyE64. A perfect representation of the label’s renewed vision, and a key landmark in the continuum, ‘Model Collapse’ sonically mirrors both FABRICLIVE’s rich history and new vision, reaffirming their position as an essential platform for cutting-edge bass music.

The EP comes as a bespoke vinyl edition, featuring a striking picture disc and hand-etched design, pressed on heavyweight wax, mastered by Matt Colton at Metropolis and manufactured by The Vinyl Factory, everything is UK made. The artwork comes courtesy of John Karborn, a London-based artist, on whom Sully comments, “we have a few projects under our belt now and I've always enjoyed the process. He's a dynamo of ideas and I'm never quite sure where they'll lead, which is 99% of the fun with this stuff. Conversely, FABRICLIVE is a new partnership for me but it's clear we are on the same page in terms of trying something a bit different and being a bit ambitious with the presentation."

Subsai & AOS13 reimagine two compositions in a new form.

The tracks were created during joint sessions between 2020 and 2021, and reimagined in 2025.
This release is a subtle homage to trip-hop rhythms and slow, reflective electronics.
It’s a meditation on time, change, and the continuity of the creative process.

“Spine” is a game of contrasts—a balance between restrained aggression and fluid motion. At its core lies a deep, dynamic groove, rooted in slow hip-hop influences yet constantly evolving. Synthetic textures wrap around the rhythmic backbone, forming a dense, organic structure. But just as the track finds its equilibrium, it abruptly shifts—layers of synthesis unravel, making way for a powerful 808 bass, tearing through layers of noise and distortion. In that moment, the track erupts, unleashing its full energy into the low frequencies.

“Frozen Artery” follows a different path. It opens with a crystalline pulse, steady yet restless, moving like a current beneath the surface. IDM textures gradually recede into the background, while the main melody floods the space, like blood coursing through an artery. In its final moments, the melody dissolves completely, morphing into a dense, melodic drone that absorbs the remaining rhythm.

Time has only sharpened their sound.

Subsai, AOS13 - Spine

Impérieux debuts on Hessle Audio with the Fena EP, an immersive collection of 4 tracks defined by his unpredictable and varied sonic palette. Drawing on a heritage that threads through Turkey, Greece and his home city of Kırcaali in Bulgaria, Alper Durmush channels a turbulent year in which six months of creative stillness ignited unexpectedly into an explosive burst of musical ideas.

"Fena is a word my Mum used to call me as a kid" recounts Durmush on the title track. "The name comes from Turkish, but with a Balkan twist, it means a mischievous rascal - wild, unpredictable, a bit too much at times". This restless energy is perfectly captured with jittering interferance and snarling sawtooth synths bursting through the mix, threatening to overwhelm the speakers and sending sound engineers running for cover. 'Sickomode' encapsulates the push-pull emotional sensibility of the EP, with confidence and meloncholy rotating, shifting, and giving way to each other.

'Saat' is an attempt to recreate a track based solely on a surreal description, relayed by a veteran of the rave scene in his home town - "This guy told me about a festival in the woods back in the early 2000s, where someone played a track with dogs barking in the break - the volume rising constantly." The initial dissonance of its detuned lead releases into a euphoric rush of melody, a combination which is becoming something of a producer trademark. The EP closes with the quiet, unwavering warmth of 'Cawuso', a nickname for a person that the artist met last year. "This very special person showered me with kindness and purity. It almost felt unreal, so I decided to dedicate this track to them."

Hotflush is a record label launched by Paul Rose aka Scuba in 2003. Its early period was spent as a central part of London's Bass Music scene which exploded in the mid 2000s, although the label has always been difficult to pigeonhole musically and recent output has focused on Techno and House.
