[Awen Records], a prominent figure in the electronic music industry, is thrilled to unveil an exciting release under the reference [Awen206], featuring the talented artist Aquarius Ezra. This EP titled "Connections" brings forth two captivating tracks: "Connections" and "No Reason," taking listeners on an unparalleled sonic journey. Aquarius Ezra, a prodigious 20-year-old producer, DJ, and vocalist hailing from Hungary, is on a quest to define his unique style within the realm of Melodic Techno. His continuous experimentation with new sounds and production methods sets him apart. With 7 years of electronic music production experience, Ezra has been releasing his music on multiple worldwide labels since 2021. In this EP, Aquarius Ezra aimed to create a sound that departs from his previous experimental work. The intention was to craft tracks with an industry-standard sound to ensure they resonate with the right audience and inspire dancing wherever the music is heard. The artist draws inspiration from the modern sound of Anyma and Massano from Afterlife. When creating music, Aquarius Ezra firmly believes in maintaining creative flow, avoiding wasteful hours in the studio. Consequently, analog equipment is eschewed, and all production is conducted in-the-box for efficiency. This approach results in spending no more than 8-10 hours on a track from inception to mix, a key element that enables sustained creative flow. "Connections" is a track that gradually builds, introducing an uplifting synth in the break that transports listeners to another world, before culminating in a dynamic explosion. The heavy lead sound and bassline ignite the party atmosphere. On the other hand, "No Reason" serves as a club anthem, characterized by its heavy bassline, contemporary sound design, and the perfect melodic techno groove that compels dancing.

The first release of the year from Hot Trax comes from the German duo Raumakustik, with Jamie Jones on remix duty. Having had recent releases on a Grain Audio, Ipoly & Mangue Records, “Raider” is their debut on the Hot Creations subsidiary.

Raumakustik deliver a high energy and rhythmic track with ‘Raider’. The industrial tech-heavy sounds are perfectly mixed with catchy drums and a calling bell. Over on the B-side, Jamie Jones delivers a darker remix to drive music lovers to the dancefloor.

Sebastian and Volker are Raumakustik. They have been creating music together for a number of years and believe in creating tracks that will not only bring listeners to the dancefloor but also stay in their memory.

Jamie Jones launched Hot Trax in 2012 after wanting to create a label that moved away from the well-known and popular sounds of Hot Creations. It has been described as a label for the “headstrong” with previous releases coming from Patrick Topping and wAFF.

UK based artist Northcat returns to Manual Music's progressive house imprint MNL with his long awaited solo debut release Questions.

A relatively new yet rapidly rising name in the progressive scene, Northcat first made his mark on the label earlier this year as one of the runners up in the Finishmoremusic remix contest for Drac Trac by Riigs and Paul Hazendonk, earning him his first official release on MNL. Since then he has continued to refine his sound across several respected underground labels.

The Questions release features two standout tracks, Questions and Downhill Racer, both offering uplifting peak time energy while maintaining a rich sense of depth and emotion that defines Northcat's signature style.

It was in 2014 when a mutual friend introduced me to Victor Ruiz while he was staying here in Berlin. I invited Victor to my studio where we had a fantastic session, playing our music to each other, listening to stuff we like and simply talkin and connecting. Since then, we became close friends as well as starting to work together. Victor has released two outstanding EPs on Electric Ballroom by now. This summer we met again and recorded three tracks.
