I really do like this drum machine! Not only does its ACB make it a faithful recreation of the original sounds, its added features are also really welcome and make it an amazing performance machine.

...and I didn't even use Step Repeat!! Only noticed afterwards 😂

Carl Cox is an industry figurehead whos legacy in music includes his iconic label Intec, which he runs with friend and business partner Jon Rundell, and the new release is a techno focused EP from Eats Everything.

As his fans already know, Eats Everything is an eclectic artist who is hard to pigeon hole, and recently his chunky sound tailored for the dance floor has started to incorporate a lot more techno.

Having first broken onto the scene following EPs on labels like Dirtybird and Petz Records, he has quickly risen through the ranks adding labels like Relief, Hypercolour and Crosstown Rebels to his impressive back catalogue.

Eats Everything is a successful solo artist but many will also be familiar with collaborations working with people such as Justin Martin, Green Velvet, Tiga, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Catz 'n Dogz and Claude VonStroke.

His first Essential Mix for Radio 1 is still widely considered one of the best, and his techno tracks and remixes have already found homes on labels including Pan-Pots Second State and Matador's Rukus.

Having already rubbed shoulders with many of electronic musics most iconic artists and arguably becoming an icon himself, its only logical that Carl Cox would be the next person to welcome Eats Everything into the fold, with this being his debut on Intec.

First on the EP is Bettah which centres around the thump of a thickset kick drum and filtered synth stabs. All about the down beat, the tracks jackin groove and rigid sound is brought to live with the energy of the soulful vocals stabs. Straight up techno with a party vibe this track is sure to set the dance floor alight.

Appropriately titled No Seatin Available the second cut on the EP makes you want to be on your feet while punching the air to the beat. Using tom drums to build a rolling groove, the tracks raw funk and dark atmosphere will have people rushing to the dance floor from all parts of the club once this gets hold

Jabal is the title of the forthcoming release by Kendojubaki and Dj Ali through Berlin based Label ‘Live From Earth’. The release is the second instalment of the labels Live From Earth Klub series. 'Jabal’ translates to mountain in Arabic. It is also where the two artists roots trace back to in their home country of Lebanon. The listeners receive a glimpse of the socio-political issues surrounding the jabal areas across Lebanon through unique sampling, cathartic melodies and hardcore drum elements across the tracks.

The idea for our track "Bierchen" arose in a foggy autumn night in the mid west of Germany. We were having a long studio day, but did not reach our desired sound yet. Hunting down a range of musical ideas did not prove to be succesfull. After calling it a day, we decided to drink a small bottle of the German nation-juice called beer. Soon after, we found ourselves back on track, creating this very tune. We dedicated it the German word "Bierchen", which means small beer 🙂

Label boss David Tort is starting the year on HoTL Records with his new single "Phaze 91", a solid Tech House indrustrial infused track. David made it to the club for the first time in 1988 at the early age of 14 and he instantly knew he was going to be a dj, born and raised in Barcelona he's been playing around in dark and sweaty clubs since then, growing up together with the European club scene, from Acid House to Techno, New Beat, EBM and even Goa Trance, he brewed his own signature sound and that's what we can hear on his new song, he started traveling the world in 2008 after doing some tunes that put his name on the first division of DJs track lists as Mark Knight, Eric Morillo, Tiesto, Carl Cox, Chus and Ceballos, Axwell, Steve Angello to name a few, as he often say "That was a long training, I needed 20 years to get ready for the real deal"

Serving as the primary source for Klangkuenstler's demonic productions, the Berlin label Outworld is by now a go-to for driving, industrial-strength techno with a penchant for firy hooks and hellishly atmospheric soundscapes. On catalogue number 005, Klangkuenstler orchestrates a dynamic tension between rock-hard underworld grooves and transcendental ascension, as implied by its title 'Himmelreich'.

The A1 of the same name pointedly encapsulates this age-old pull between dark and light within the wicked waltz of a punchy power-beat and a sugary, elevating synth lead: imagine the devil knocking on heaven's door. Next up, the gnarly scrap-metal fuzz, insidious pads and trademark poetic spoken-word of 'Alte Zeit' reject relief for something altogether more vicious – yet no less fulfilling.
