As if being at the helm of Hot Creations wasn't enough for Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, the two are launching a brand new label, Emerald City. 

They announced it at the beginning of last month and the first release is coming from Serge Devant (regular Ultra Records artist) & Damiano, with New Jersey/New York vocalist Camille Safiya involved with some oozing harmonies. 

Providing a home for 'Fearing Love (Club Mix)' clearly wasn't enough for Jones and Foss, though, as they've teamed up for a remix.

Self-disclosed as an artist ‘between house and techno’, Lausanne-based newcomer Jeremy Vieira aka Several Definitions rolls out his first release on SVT, 'No Artificial'.

The EP opens up with ‘Wind and Waves’, a dark tech-house build up with uplifting synths accented by avian trills that give the track an eerie jungle mood, tailored for the late night freaks. Boy Next Door is enlisted to add more depth and pace, turning the track into an even more profound nocturnal exploration, underlined by swirling analog synths.

The 7-minute long ‘Intro,’ of which we exclusively premiere today, speaks for itself, as it gradually introduces the artist’s core sound elements that can be recognized shape shifting throughout the EP. Several Definitions hauled KlangKuenstler for the remix, giving the track a complete club anthem makeover with an infusion of wobbly synths and extra groove. ‘No Artificial Comments’ showcases yet again the artist’s knack for propulsion, as metronomic throbs develop a hypnotic synth-laden, last-track-of-the-festival, eyes-to-the-sky kind of feeling.

4 To The Floor revisits Jon Cutler’s soulful hit ‘It’s Yours’ in a ten-track package featuring remixes from the likes of Joey Negro, NiCe7 and many more. Originally released in 2001, the Brooklyn producer Jon Cutler enlisted E-Man on the instantly recognisable vocal hook, coupled with live sax, on his Original Distance Music and Jon’s B-Side Breakdown mixes. Joey Negro ups the tempo and puts the vocals at the forefront of his composition with blissed-out keys. Frankie Feliciano breaks the arrangement right down in his Ricanstruction Mix adding in down-tempo drums and heavenly guitar, as well as a pacier and synth-focused Retro Mix. Italian production duo NiCe7 bring in their tech-house influences on a deeper and darker remix and DJ Fudge lays down a pumping bassline over groovy synth flares. David Penn provides a more main room sound in his Vocal Mix and German DJ Ian Pooley injects some funk with upbeat sax riffs in his Main Mix. A wobbling Bass Dub from Jay-J tops off the ultimate remix package for one timeless soulful classic.

 Wolf + Lambs' San Fran trio Pillowtalk join the W+L Black edits crew, serving up tastefully housed-up reworks of soul gems. First up they get the scissors out on Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell's late 60s soul anthem "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing", turning it into an extended, chugging disco-soul bomb. Next up is Bobby Hebb's version of the classic "Sunny", this time with the simplest of house beats added, making this an essential for Marcy Hotel nights. Lastly the Festivals' super-slow soul smoocher "You've Got The Makings Of A Lover" gets seriously pepped-up, with BPMs pushed towards peak-time dancefloor action.
