Just heard (15 the May 2015) that BB has passed away. Such an inspiration and a brilliant guitarist and vocalist.

I just had to pick up my 335 guitar and play some blues thinking about all I had learned from listening to him playing the guitar. It was back in 1972, when I was watching a test transmission for colour TV (on a black and white set!) during the day time that used the film about BB king recording in London. It was so inspiring and got me into learning to play the blues. Thanks BB and RIP.

Biography:

I Used to play in a band in the 70's called HotSpanna (Rock/Blues/Covers band) which used to tour the North East of England in the 70's...

Not really played much guitar since start of the 80's due to uni/work/travel/family/businesses  etc...

Decided to try and get back to the level I was at when I was 19 (1979) in mid 2011. Now almost 12 months later (May 2012) I am about the same level as I was when I was 19.

Hoping to start playing in/forming a band and get back into gigging.

Hope you like the tracks.

I am also composing new tracks as well (a very few of them are on here). 

Enjoying the feel of the guitar again. Mainly use my old Ned Callan electric guitar which I bought second hand in 1977. It is one of the original luthier assembled models and has in my opinion a great sound and plays really well.
