Combine Cologne, HOOVE, and quality house, and it can only leave you with one artist - DJOKO. Already a favourite for many, the surging German continues to impress with diverse cuts via labels such as Berg Audio, PIV, Shall Not Fade, Rutilance Recordings, and his young but thriving HOOVE imprint. Offering up a wealth of vibrant tones, his ‘My Bad Your Fault’ EP on Up The Stuss serves up yet another quintessential release for both artist and label - fusing a trio of impactful, innovative trips alongside a futuristic slice of electro under his revered KOLTER alias. A powerful, slinking opener armed with classic organ stabs, swirling synths, and driving drums, title production ‘My Bad Your Fault’ sets the tone from the first minute as DJOKO flexes his studio talents in full, while ‘My Dog Never Barks’ introduces a playful yet powerful slice of funk to proceedings as rubbery bass licks meet spacey leads throughout. ‘Unknown Territory’ opens the b-side and welcomes the arrival of a paired back affair as dubby pads float alongside shuffling percussion, before switching things up as KOLTER and closing the show via the sci-fi leaning, atmospheric synth squiggles, vocoder vocals, and rolling breaks of closing cut ‘Your Love My Pain’.

Introducing the first track, Paluma features a bouncy beat that leads you and all the dancefloor up with an extra busy bassline, deep rhythmic stabs and an old-school spoken vocal which are combined in a perfect harmony delivering an impressive vibe. Next up we're feeling wavy with a collaboration between Paluma and Tyson O'Brien called 'Speak To Tha Yung', which delivers a powerful minimal/deep tech groove. Classic house vocals are laced up with a colourful characteristic bassline and perfect swinging drum rhythm, leading you to keep smiling while grooving on the dancefloor.

Next up on the label is label boss RILEY with his second release this year. this time bringing a two track EP titled 'Not Tonight'

The talented young artist from Liverpool, UK, has previously released tracks on labels such as Elrow, Issues, Short Circuit, THUNDR, and Till? Records, since arriving on the scene at the end of 2019 with his debut release 'Chapter 8' on Overdose Records. His last release on Elbow Limited 'Fundamentally Funky EP' was very well received with support coming from Waff, Archie Hamilton, Rendher, and De La Swing and many others. 

On the A side is the lead track 'Not Tonight which is a high-energy, deep roller with multiple synth use, warm baselines and clever sample use. then on the flip side we have 'On Bas Terms' a hard hitter ready for the club dance-floors.

Funk Cartel bring their rave-ready sounds to Hottrax with the three-track ‘Discotexx EP’. 

Brothers Blame Rory and Kimono Cam have quickly risen through the ranks with releases on the likes of Etiquette and Deeperfect, as well as running their own THUNDR imprint. The taste-making duo now step up for Jamie Jones's always-on-point Hottrax with three robust and richly detailed cuts. 

'Discotexx' kicks off with freaky vocals, sci-fi sonic details and plenty of effects that make the track irresistible. The superb 'Higher' is another slice of dance floor dynamite, with a fluid bassline combined with addictive grooves for a spaced-out, futuristic track. Last but not least is 'Feel It,' another full flavour cut with punchy drum programming, trippy vocal fragments, and whirring sounds taking it into cosmic realms.
