Liverpool’s Eldon debuts on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax with ‘NYC Girl’ this September. 

Having previously appeared on Sola, Arcane Music, Four Thirty Two, and more, the UK-based DJ/producer arrives on Jamies Jones’ Hottrax for his first release on the label, delivering two tripped out deep house cuts. 

Title track ‘NYC Girl’ sees the Liverpudlian reach for bouncing synths, slinky low-end, and strung out chords, creating a grooving track certain to get dancefloors moving. ‘Time For The Granulator’ follows suit, diving into trippier territories with spacious FX, stereo trickery, and wonky percussion making for a perfectly suited number for the after hours.

Morgan Cole makes his Hottrax debut this February with ‘Initiate EP’

Having signed his first EP to Patrick Topping’s Trick imprint at the end of 2020, Morgan Cole has had a strong 12 months since welcoming releases on Nervous, REALM and Sola alongside track support from the likes of Richy Ahmed, Michael Bibi, PAWSA and Eli Brown. Now, Jamie Jones’ esteemed Hottrax welcomes the 22 year old talent with three track, vibrating house EP ‘Initiate’. 

Direct percussion and throbbing basslines drive growling opening track ‘Initiate’ as tantalizing female vocals and squelching lazer samples pave the way for this peak-time EP. Next, the head bopping ‘Real Funk’ delivers a shuffling base, tight hats and glistening cymbals while female vocals dance over the beat before computer driven ‘System Error’ pays homage to the Hottrax back catalogue with sinister vocals, game-like bleeps and rumbling tones.
