So this mix is years overdue... As a DJ who started out playing strictly DnB I used to have a secret hate on for house music. House was always a dirty word in my vocabulary but over the years, especially during the pandemic I started to dig it more and more. My doctor said there was nothing wrong with me, it's perfectly normal to like house music.😅 I'm no aficionado but, for a while, I've wanted to put together a bunch of my favorite housey & garagey tunes. So here it is, my first ever House (and a little garage) mix Durty Wurd! Perfect for summer time boogies, road trips, pool parties, orgies etc...

The Comeback is a return to self - coming back to my own, to my roots, to my authentic self: my passion for the music, and finding purpose within the passion. It’s easy to lose ourselves - through work, relationships, and stresses of life - but the more I reconnect with the music, actively and with intention, the closer I come to reconnecting with my true nature and my younger self; the boy who cared only for DJing, making mixes, playing shows & bush raves, and jumping around on stage. A good DJ has the power to move collective energy and my inner child wants to be part of that collective once again.

It’s been six years since I’ve released a proper mix. I’ve been working on this one for the past seven months: 36 tracks, and at least half of them are double drops. I have never been so committed to the music, to the complexity of transitions, and to creating something worth celebrating. Major house party vibes. Born from inspiration derived during a hot springs camping trip in the Pacific Northwest, Hot Tub is the moniker of Canadian multi instrumentalist, DJ and producer Ryan Krumins. By utilizing his indie-rock background, he crafts a unique brand of deep house with rich synthwork, grooving basslines, acoustic guitar and his own vocals.

Since releasing his debut EP in 2019, he's been featured by DJ Mag, and supported by industry heavyweights The Chainsmokers, Austin Kramer, The Funk Hunters, jackLNDN, UOAK, LEFTI & many more.
