9Realms - 13. The Sun Is Dark

Freqax is back on Algorythm Recordings with his new release, The Sound of Fury. The EP features 3 neuro infused tracks by the man himself and a collaboration with Algorythm label bosses Counterstrike. As with all Freqax material this release has it's cross-hairs aimed straight at the dance floor. 

Hailing from Bucharest Romania, Freqax launched into the scene in 2010 with his release, The Axe on Algorythm Recordings. Since then nothing has been able to hold him back and he's seen the expansion of his vision on labels such as PRSPCT, Othercide, Forbidden Society and Yellow Stripe to name a few. He is no slouch in the DJ department either and has played on stages around the world with some of the biggest names in the industry.

Diego Verjel aka Nomm is a Drum & Bass Producer from Bogota, Colombia.
He is since 3 years into the production and also a good friend of Stepbass, who already had a release on our label. They teamed up and worked on the Specimen debut track for the Fresh Blood EP.

After a long hot summer we are returning with Russian based duo called 2Whales. With their scalp releases on labels like Red Light, Impact Music and their own Shell Shock, they are surely being recognized by the whole scene. Their first track "Skeleton" brings us classic east-block neurofunk banger. Second track with a name "Kill Human" makes you appreciate their sound design techniques and unique style of drum and bass. Both tracks shows us how well this duo and whole russian scene works.

2Whales - Skeleton

Underneath the veil of mystery emerges an unknown duo called The Martens. They are here with their first proper release "Ambush" and ready to take over the scene with their sharp and precise neuro sound. Starting with a military themed first track, we are ambushed by dirty and neck snapping stabs and noises. Next comes the track "LYBE", which makes the listener appreciate the love for the memes and funny side of The Martens. At the end we have only "Theories" and they will certainly make us wonder what The Martens will do next. Lets find out!
