Aron Ottignon & Rodi Kirk's bouncy 70s inspired piano-jam, summery, steel-pan version may already be familiar to some of you as it was originally a bonus track on EWH's 2015 'Aeons' EP. Ashley Beedle's North Street vocal mix strips back the production to emphasise the evocative vocal collaboration between Mara TK and Kimbra with Darren Morris's added keyboards taking the whole track to church. Add to that the North Street Dub and you've got a package that will uplift the soul.
The digital release is 15th July with limited vinyl 12" in August 2016.

We made it. Episode 200!  I've been doing online radio shows since the early 2000s and I think NDYD is the first to make it to 200.  There is only one reason for that. You guys. If it wasn't for the fans and listeners of this radio show I would have stopped. The messages and support I have received from you guys (and industry people) has been amazing. Especially after my car accident in 2018. So thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Since this is a special episode it needed to be well, 'special'. I got what I wish for cause the person who stepped up to help me cross this milestone is non other that NDYD veteran and especially very, very good friend Cloak Dagger (@cloakdaggernyc) out of New York City. 

His bio reads:

A permanent fixture in Manhattan’s chic hotel lounge and loft scene displaying an eclectic array of DJ residencies from the opulence of The W Hotel in Times Square to the stylish boutique NoMo SoHo and the swanky Art Deco infused Ophelia Rooftop in midtown Manhattan. 

On the production side of the coin. Cloak is a resident curator for German based label NDYD alongside his own boutique edit and rework series Noc Boots. Cloak has released music under Midnight Riot, Claude Challe select series, Bastard Jazz recordings and the Timewarp label. His latest single “Cut Me Open” is out now on Spotify and all good digital streaming sites!

Luke, his wife Drea and his entire beautiful family are some of the nicest people I have met in the industry and they have become friends for life.  I can't wait for us to play together again.
